Had a lovely time staying at Hay Vacay. Laura met me there when I had a minor problem getting the key box open....she's only a couple of minutes up the road so it wasn't an issue. The horsebox is lovely and Laura had put the heater on so it was nice and warm when I arrived. There's also basic supplies eg Tea, Coffee and milk in the fridge and some lovely Almond biscuits which were extremely nice! The bed on the Luton was comfortable with a good mattress and nice bedding and the steps up to it are fairly easy. The bathroom in the trailer is great....plenty of hot water and very spacious with a very good shower and nice towels provided.I had dogs with me so the secure garden area around the horsebox is really nice to have and there's great walks from the farm. You also park within this secure area so managing dogs, luggage etc when you arrive is easy. The only reason I gave 4 stars overall rather than 5 is the lack of Internet and TV.....it wasn't a big problem for me as I was out most of the time and it is clear from the listing on VRBO thats the case so I knew that when I made the booking and I did have fairly good phone signal so could use mobile internet whilst there however I suspect for a lot of people that might put them off. Overall I would definitely recommend the Hay Vacay especially for single travellers like myself or couples.
