Welcome to Filefjell, our comfortable and well-equipped mountain cabin, perfect for your next getaway to the Norwegian highlands. The cabin features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 8 beds – making it ideal for families or groups of friends. Gather in the cozy living room with fireplace, enjoy evenings around the large dining table, or cook memorable meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The space is warm, welcoming, and designed for relaxing moments after a day outdoors. One of the bathroom has an indoor hot tub.
Out on the terrace, you'll find a bonfire pan and seating, perfect for summer grilling, morning coffee in the sun, or cosy winter moments wrapped in a blanket with something warm to drink. With cross-country trails, hiking routes and the ski slopes just around the corner, this is a great base for outdoor adventures all year round.
In the Heart of the Real Mountains
Filefjell and Tyin offer a true mountain experience – with towering peaks, open landscapes, and crystal-clear lakes. Hiking trails start right outside the cabin. During summer, you can explore marked trails leading to panoramic peaks like Kljåkinnknippene, Koldedalsbreen, or the iconic Uranostinden. For a more cultural and family-friendly hike, the King’s Road (Kongevegen) offers scenic walking paths with historical value.
In winter, the area transforms into a cross-country skiing paradise, with well-prepared trails and stunning high-mountain scenery. The Filefjell Ski Resort is only minutes away and offers alpine slopes for all levels, a kids’ area, and peaceful conditions without crowds.

Easter holiday: Easter bookings are only possible for the following periods: Friday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Monday, or for the full week.
