The hostess Marlou have a little charming cottage in the garden on this idyllic island of Älgö, located in the outskirts of Stockholm. The house has a luxurious and comfortable bed, reading corner, storage space, kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.

Within a 15 minutes drive you find restaurants, shops, spa, golf course, skiing facility, tennis courts, swimming pool and plenty of other nature activities. You are basically living in the middle of Stockholms archipelago.

Friendly and cozy

Cozy little house in a nicely setted garden on a beautiful island. Perfect place to explore both: Stockholm City and the archipelago. Very friendly hosts. We had a wonderful time there.

The house is warm and lovely and clean, it jas all the nevessary utensils, and we could make some dinner. There are forests in the area, so we enjoyed walking/hiking Marilou is wery warm and welcoming! Thank you very much!

Schönes kleines Häusschen in der Natur

Das kleine Haus steht im Garten der Gastgeberin, die sehr nett und zuvorkommend ist. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und perfekt, wenn man eine Auszeit nehmen möchte. Das Häusschen verfügt über eine Dusche, Kühlschrank, eine Iduktionsherdplatte, Mikrowelle und weiterem Küchenzubehör. Das Bett ist eine Art Schlafsofa und relativ hart. Wenn man hier übernachtet ist ein Auto auf jeden Fall von Vorteil. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

Beautiful little Cottage

Eine super gemütliches kleines Häuschen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine schöner großer Garten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Manchmal sieht man Rehe am Grundstücksrand im Wald. Schöne Fußwege führen zu noch schöneren Schwimmtstellen. Erholung pur. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Woche.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt.Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Ruhige Lage in sehr schöner Umgebung. Viel Natur. Mit Auto und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und Booten gute Anbindung nach Stockholm und auf die Schäreninseln. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a wonderful time at Marlou´s cottage. It was as cozy as presented in the picture and it is a great location, from which you can easily visit Stockholm, as well as the beautiful swedish landsite. Marlou was a great host, who was very hospitable and obliging. We would definitely visit there again.

idéal pour découvrir la région de Stockholm

d'abord vous faites la connaissance de Marlou et Michel, deux personnes attachantes. Ensuite vous découvrez ce petit logis à la Suédoise niché dans un cadre où se mélange forêt, mer et autres lieux magique à découvrir. Ensuite vous profitez de l'excellente situation pour découvrir Stockholm (par le train, idéal) et sa région. Bref, un excellent séjour, deux belles rencontres et un pays vraiment super.

Een heerlijke plek, erg rustige en mooie omgeving. Goede uitvalsbasis om per trein naar Stockholm te gaan. Aanrader is een boottocht naar 1 van de eilanden in de Archipel. Wij hebben Sandhamn bezocht, op een prachtig eiland waar je met gemak een dagje kunt doorbrengen (o.a. strand). Het huisje is klein maar fijn, is compleet. Wij hebben het er goed gehad!

Tolle Woche in Stockholm

Klein aber fein und alles vorhanden was man für eine Woche Städtetripp so benötigt. Ein Auto sollte allerdings vorhanden sein um schnell an die S-Bahn Station zu gelangen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank!

Marlou ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin und bemüht die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Das Quarier ist sehr einfach augestattet aber alles war sauber. Bed & Breakfast stimmt nicht ganz. The yellow house I fell in love with

Marlou's little yellow house made me feel home immediately: it is situated in a nice garden surrounded by big forests next to the waterfront, so you can hike and swim or just relax. It's a short ride to the center of Stockholm; I went by public transportation which was very convenient. The house is very neat and offers all the comfort you are looking for: a good bed, a spacious bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Marlou is a lovely host, very welcoming and friendly. I intend to go back in the near future.

Es ist wirklich so wie beschrieben

Wir waren fünf Tage in diesem in einem separaten Gartenhäuschen untergebrachten Apartment. Er hat einen Schlafraum mit integrierter Küche (kein Herd, ansonsten alles da, halt B&B...) und hat ansonsten noch ein Bad. Man hat den hinteren Gartenteil für sich allein (die Vermieter wohnen vorne), man kann wunderbar im Garten essen. Malou ist unheimlich nett. Das Häuschen tagsüber in der Sonne, was normalerweise in Schweden ein Vorteil sein dürfte, aber in diesem Jahrhundertsommer war es dann spätestens ab 12.00h zu warm im Raum. Ansonsten liegt es landschaftlich wunderschön in den Schären. Es ist total ruhig, auch nachts. Vorbildlich sauber. 100% Empfehlung!

In den Schären nahe Stockholm

Marlou ist eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Das Haus liegt ruhig, zum Wasser sind es 5 min zu Fuß. Es ist klein, aber alles da, was man braucht, inklusive Frühstücken im Freien. Zum Kochen steht nur eine Herdplatte zur Verfügung. Außerdem gibt es eine Mikrowelle. Zum Zug richtig Stockholm sind es ca. 10 min mit dem Auto (Parken kostenlos). Dieser fährt innerhalb einer halben Stunde in die Innenstadt. Die Fahrkarte sollte man vorher im ICA-Supermarkt am Kiosk kaufen, da es an der Station keine Möglichkeit zum Fahrkartenkauf gibt. Das Ferienhaus ist ideal, wenn man Natur und Stadt miteinander verbinden möchte.
