Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in the western coast of Finland. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the house and the village, 10 km from the local center. 40 km from the city center of Vaasa. There are lots of summer festivals, markets, music and other culture happenings in Vaasa and the region. In winter the sea is covered by a thick layer of ice, :). It is nice to move on the ice with skis, skates, kick sledge, walking, snowmobile...Winterfishing is popular. The woodheated sauna is in a separate building, as it is traditionally in these old houses. The bathtub (extra fee 40 €/all the period of the stay) is also woodheated. Two bicycles ( 15 €/bike), a little rowingboat (40 € boat) and two kayaks (25 € /kayak) are available. The extra fees are /visit - undependent how many times you use them during your stay.
