This is an old apartment building in the inner city of Aalborg, where families used to live entire lives. Now they have evicted the house of residents and put code locks on all the doors for travellers to enter and exit without ever meeting a single person. This is the recipe for how you kill the spirit of a city with capital interests. I felt so bad when I could hear kids out the window, because, they have no neighbors, they have the sound of suitcases on the sidewalk. I would rather stay at a hotel that was at least build to be a hotel and not evicted old family apartments. I got 17 e-mails for one booking and a rude person on the other end. I had to share an apartment kitchen and bathroom with two other residents for the price of a hotelroom.
