Little Haven has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
There is a public right of way through the rear garden to access the neighbour's garden, however, this is very rarely used
The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted

10/10 Excellent

An excellent stay

We stayed here with our 1 year old and our dog in November. It was exceptional. The house felt immediately like home, cosy, with a beautiful log burner which really added to the experience. Well equipped kitchen for our evening meals with an abundance of coffee and tea! Milk in the fridge for arrival was a bonus. The beds were incredibly comfortable. As one who never sleeps well away from home, I slept brilliantly. The travel cot and high chair for the baby were great too. Beautiful cottage a stones throw from Stow’s centre! My only tip would be to bring a travel stair gate as our baby kept trying to climb and the stairs are very steep but that’s very minor. We just blocked it with a chair.

8/10 Good

Lovely cottage, comfortable, warm apart of the parking

The Little Haven was a lovely place to stay for our 4 day Autumn Break. The cottage was clean, comfortable, warm (which is essential in the cold autumn days), cosy bedrooms and good quality bedding. Apart of egg cups which we have not found was all what you need for cooking. The only negative comment I have to mention is the parking. It says on street parking but as it is very build up area with tiny cottages and no spaces to park. You have to be very lucky to spot a space and even then we had to block half of the neighbour drive way to accommodate our car. Suggestion for the StayCotswold: create a driveway for the guest in front of the cottage just like the other cottages did. The stay is not cheap and the stress attached to not being able to park nearby is something which will stop coming back to this property.
