About this property
A Northumbrian Seaside home with links to Northumberland’s beautiful sights.
Sunset view is perfect for exploring, for dog lovers or surfers. Our open plan, three bedroom holiday home is the perfect setting for those who want to enjoy the beach as well as exploring beautiful Northumberland.
The recent renovation is clean, bright and modern; very comfortable and welcoming.
Upon entering the house you'll love the open plan living space. The living area is equipped with a smart TV and is cosy and welcoming. There’s plenty of seating plus a selection of games and books so you can relax and unwind. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer, microwave and a wine chiller.
The bathroom is modern and spacious and you'll love the rain shower!
Heading upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom (with a reading chair so there’s a place to have some time to yourself), a second double bedroom and a single room. There’s plenty of storage and a hairdryer is provided.
The beds are comfortable, with good quality linen and mattresses and we provide towels for our guests. For convenience, we also provide a travel cot and a high chair - please let us know in advance if you need these.
The house is located in a residential area, just a minute’s walk away from the beach and a short walk from the town centre, where you'll find an array of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. A new surf cafe with surf school is now up and running on the promenade very close to the property: it has a sauna ( looking out over the sea) that you can book to warm you up after your sea swim! There’s a popular play park a few minutes walk from the house and the community bowling club welcomes guests if you fancy your luck!
You'll have the whole house to yourself. There’s patio access from the front of the house to a garden and seating area which is an absolute sun trap. The small yard to the rear of the house also has an area to sit and unwind.
We welcome up to two well behaved dogs but please note that there is only a small (fully enclosed) yard at the rear of the property. The beach and promenade are just a few minutes walk away though: ideal for walks.

Why they chose this property
We chose Newbiggin because we love how it gives us access to the beach, the beautiful Northumberland countryside and castles as well as close proximity to Newcastle and main transport links to places like Hadrian’s Wall.
