Welcome to Avalon! This is our stunning, clean, Spanish Styled vacation rental home in the lower Arcadia area on the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale and less than 3 miles to the popular Old Town Scottsdale area. Enjoy the close by attractions like Camelback Mtn hiking, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, Old Town Scottsdale, Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix Zoo, Golf and Giants Spring Training Stadium.

Large 4 bedroom 3 bath (2 showers and one shower\tub) that comfortably sleeps 8.

The home boasts an open floor plan that is separated in all the right places. Extensive renovations have been done inside and outside the home. Upon entry, you will enjoy the large open kitchen and dinning area. Cook like a gourmet chef on the high end 36" gas range and gather together around the massive granite topped kitchen island with seating for five. Just off the kitchen is a formal dinning space to enjoy your meals.

The Master bedroom has Cal King bed and bathroom with shower. 2nd bedroom has Queen bed and bathroom with shower. 3rd bedroom has Queen bed and 4th bedroom has Full bed. The 3rd bathroom has a jetted bathtub with shower. All Bedrooms have Smart TVs with HULU and Disney+.

The main living space boasts vaulted ceilings, an atrium, fireplace, and wet-bar. This space is large and has tons of seating with a sofa, love seat, and chair in addition to the bar seating. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with HULU and Disney+.

Step outside into your own private oasis. The covered patio has a large circular lounger and there is a flat screen TV mounted into the wall. The backyard has been extensively renovated with an outdoor kitchen, gas fireplace and fire pots, pebble-tec pool, and hot tub. Cook on the natural gas grill and enjoy multiple seating areas with outdoor sofa and chairs under the gazebo and outdoor table and chairs with umbrella. Take a dip in the pool that is heated during the winter months and relax on the lounge chairs.

We lived in this home for 18 years so all of the upgrades have been done with a personal touch. The area is convenient to many local attractions and we love the area so much we purchased our current home just a few blocks away. If there is anything you need, we are close by to assist you.

** Heated Pool: Please note that while spa heating is included in every reservation, pool heating up to 86 degrees is available for $60/day or $420/wk (October - May). We cannot guarantee 86 degree water when night-time temps fall below 50 degrees. Definitely let us know if you want to enjoy a heated swimming pool during your visit!

Everything and more that was stated in the property description with a great host!

We were pleased with the property and it's location. The home was clean and comfortable from the bedrooms to the main areas. We loved the pool and the backyard patio area and spent a lot of time out there. The host was easy to work with, flexible and very responsive to all my inquiries. Great location to the airport, parks, grocery stores and restaurants.

Needs maintenance and cleaning

Could not stay at property due to cleanliness and safety concerns. Outdoor kitchen not useable. Owner needs a new cleaning crew. He did full refund for us but left us scrambling for alternate housing. No apology which made a bad situation even worse.

Nice weekend getaway

We went in mid/late April and did not need the pool heater. It was the perfect temperature. Overall, we had a good time. House is a good location; easy drive to Old Town Scottsdale and airport.

Another great stay

This was our second multi-week stay at Brad and Stephanie's home with some family and friends joining us. The location is great for what we like to take in while we're in the area and the neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and feels very safe (we took daily walks and were regularly greeted warmly by many residents, their children and pets!). The home is equipped with everything you could need and we loved using the pool almost every single day. Brad is super responsive to any request/concern and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!
