We were only in Milan for two nights and found this great apartment. This is our "honest" review. The apartment is in a residential building away from the city center. We took a taxi from the train station to the apartment when we arrived (which was terrifying). The apartment itself is a large cube that is very open. There is a queen on one loft, a twin on another loft, and the sofa can be converted to a "double". This worked well for my wife and I along with our two teenagers. The kitchen had all that we needed. The bathroom and shower was actually quite large compared to other VRBO properties we used on Italy on this trip. The towels, shampoo, etc. were all "hotel quality". The property is a residential building but very quiet. The area is very diverse but we always felt safe. The apartment has a washer but says it is a "dryer" as well. Unfortunately, these combo units do not really "dry" your clothes completely. We will had to hang up clothes. There is a Lidl grocery store 3 minute walk away (which was wonderful) and tons of restaurants (which were cheaper than the city center). You can get on the #19 tram outside the building's door and go all the way to the city center and back. The owner was very "kind" and organized. He communicated well throughout the process. Note: If you book through VRBO, you will be required to pay a city tax directly to the owner before your stay. This is a normal practice in Italy. Overall, it was a nice place and we would stay here again.
