The Space:

Welcome to Bridgewater Lodge, a thoughtfully designed two bedroom retreat offering comfort, style, and a peaceful setting.



Inside, you’ll find a bright and beautifully finished open plan living area. Large windows and soft tones make the space feel calm and uplifting, while contemporary furnishings and thoughtful decor add a warm, homely feel.



The living area invites you to unwind, whether you're enjoying a quiet night with a film or planning the next day’s adventures.

Step outside to a private decking area complete with comfortable outdoor seating and a hot tub jacuzzi, perfect for soaking under the stars and enjoying peaceful moments surrounded by nature.



The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for relaxed evenings in, including an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a dining table for shared meals and morning coffees. A washing machine, fridge freezer, and generous storage make the lodge ideal for longer stays too.



Ideal for families, couples, or small groups, this inviting lodge sleeps up to six guests across one double bedroom, one twin room, and a sofa bed in the airy living space.

With two modern bathrooms, including one with a bathtub for long, relaxing soaks, the lodge is created for easy, stress free breaks.



Perfectly positioned facing south, the lodge is bathed in natural light from morning to evening, offering a bright, uplifting interior and a sun-drenched terrace for slow, peaceful days outdoors.



Bridgewater Lodge sits within a beautiful lodge park setting with a range of lovely on site amenities. Guests can enjoy the picturesque 9 hole golf course, an excellent restaurant, and a charming pizza shack offering casual dining and takeaway.



Wander the peaceful grounds and you’ll often spot stunning wildlife, including swans and ducks on the lakes.



Bridgewater Lodge is all about comfort, convenience, and enjoying a slower pace. It’s the perfect place to settle in, switch off, and experience cosy lodge park living in a calming countryside environment.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Getting Around:

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park enjoys a peaceful yet convenient location in the heart of Yorkshire, surrounded by countryside while remaining just a short distance from the historic city of York. Travelling by car is simple, with the park located just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and roughly a 25–30 minute drive from York. The A1(M) and A64 provide excellent connections for those arriving from further afield, and each lodge includes free on-site parking for easy access throughout your stay.



If you’re travelling by train, York Railway Station offers direct connections to London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From there, taxis and car hire options make reaching the park quick and straightforward. Bus services also run regularly between York and Pocklington, with the final stretch from Pocklington to the park taking only a few minutes by taxi.



Guests can explore local highlights such as Pocklington’s independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, or enjoy walks and bike rides through Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve nearby. For days out, York’s world-famous attractions — including York Minster, The Shambles, and the National Railway Museum — are within easy reach.
