The Space:

Hawthorne Lodge offers a welcoming countryside retreat set within the peaceful surroundings of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park. Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, this beautifully finished two bedroom, two bathroom lodge sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for couples or small families looking to escape the everyday and unwind in style.



The open plan living area is light and spacious, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a dining area perfect for relaxed meals, and a comfortable lounge complete with a cosy indoor fireplace. The soft neutral tones and natural textures throughout create a warm and calming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying quiet evenings after a day exploring the local area.



Step outside onto your private terrace where you’ll find a luxurious hot tub and outdoor seating area. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine or a peaceful soak under the stars, this is the perfect space to relax and take in the fresh country air.



The master bedroom offers a comfortable double bed and en suite, while the second bedroom features twin beds and access to a second modern bathroom. The lodge is also pet friendly, ensuring your four legged companions can enjoy the getaway too.



Guests at Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park can also enjoy access to the on site Bar & Grill, nine hole golf course, and beautifully maintained walking routes, creating the perfect balance of relaxation and recreation during your stay.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

The park lies just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and approximately a half-hour drive from York city centre. Guests travelling from further afield can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, both providing quick and direct routes through the region. Every lodge benefits from on-site parking, allowing guests to travel freely and explore the surrounding countryside at their own pace.



For those using public transport, York Railway Station offers fast and frequent services from London, Leeds, and Manchester, while local bus routes connect York and Pocklington several times a day. From Pocklington, it’s just a short taxi ride to the park.



Within easy reach, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay — from local shops and dining in Pocklington to walking trails at Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve.
