The city is known for its sandy beaches, surfing culture and promenade lined with restaurants, cafés and shops. The property is also ideally positioned to enjoy the famous Viareggio Carnival season and its grand parades. Beach lovers are also within easy reach of other popular resorts in Versilia, including the famous Forte dei Marmi (a 20-minute drive) and Marina di Pietrasanta, only a 15-minute drive.

The apartment also makes the ideal base for touring some of Tuscany’s most popular destinations: Florence is a 1-hour 40-minute drive or an hour and a half by train, whilst Siena is both 2 hours by car or on the train. The historic city of Lucca is only a 30-minute drive or a 35-minute train journey.
