Great Family Ski Weekend, perfect location
We had a great time at Stratton. The location of this condo could not be beat. The condo was updated, clean and fully stocked with everything we could need. Highly recommend
Location is A+. great to drive there and then not have to get in the car the entire weekend. Owner is very responsive. Definitely would stay here again.
Located In the heart of Stratton Village, Vermont . There are shops, restaurants and spa.This is the best location on the mountain. Down the road there is a health club with workout room, indoor pool and massage service. This unit is located above the base lodge of Stratton. You can walk down the stairs and rent skiis and then go outdoors to the lift lines. The are also restaurants in the building below. The Rutland airport is 45 minutes away. A drive from NYC is about 4 hours or less. From Hartford CT it is about 1.5 hours; from Boston it is about 2.5 hours. Twenty minutes away from Stratton is Manchester Center with FABULOUS outlet shopping and more fine dining. It is a bustling town with many things to do. There is skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, snow mobiling and cross country skiing.
In the summer time there is golf, tennis,horseback riding , hiking and SHOPPING! Enjoy the fresh air!

Why Douglas Wells chose Stratton
Our children loved to ski and went to Stratton every year to ski with their friends. We rented many places at Stratton through the years and this is by far the best location on the mountain. Rather than fighting the crowds in the base lodge cafeteria at lunchtime, we enjoyed being able to walk a few extra steps to our condo and have lunch at home (and saving a small fortune in the process!). We do not have to get in the car and drive. Our unit is one of the newest in the entire complex. It was completely renovated in December, 2010. High end kitchen and baths. Beautiful cut stone fireplace, new carpet and hardwood floors. Kids can go to the owners lounge and play games and pool. Verde, the best restaurant on the mountain, is located in the lobby of our building. The grocery is a one minute walk from our building. There is no more convenient spot on the mountain.

There is no residence closer to the lifts, ticket windows and the Village than The Landmark, and the unit comes with 2 reserved parking passes just outside the condo.
