About this property

3 Bed in Padstow (oc-d33649)

This stone-built property sits on the fringes of Padstow and offers the perfect holiday base for families and groups of friends planning Cornish adventures together. Synonymous with chefs Rick Stein and Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth, Padstow makes a great choice for a laid-back break with plenty to enjoy, including the sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary. Stroll around the historic town and harbour and you’ll find shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to suit every appetite, or ride the ferry across the river to Rock, a favourite for water sports enthusiasts and reputed to be the home of more millionaires than anywhere else in Cornwall. For further adventures on foot, follow the Camel Trail for 5.5 miles to the market town of Wadebridge, or head 5 miles west to Trevose Head, a magnificent headland offering far-reaching views of the North Coast. Alternatively, a winding 5-mile drive will take you to Constantine Bay.

A leafy lane on the southern edge of Padstow leads to this pretty townhouse with a garage and additional parking right on the doorstep – unpacking is no problem! Once through the front door, the entrance hall leads into a handy utility room and shower room. Take the stairs to the first floor where you can see stunning views across the estuary to Rock, you’ll find your main living space, an open-plan lounge/diner with a choice of soft seating arranged before a open fire and Smart TV – perfect for cosy movie nights in. On balmy days, swing open the French doors to the rear garden and let the fresh Cornish air flow through. When stomachs rumble, find all you need in the well-appointed kitchen to cook up feasts for your loved ones, and when it’s time to call it a night, head up to the second floor to choose from three restful bedrooms. Served by another separate shower room, these rooms include two double bedrooms and a cosy twin room.

Accessed from the first-floor living space, the rear garden offers a split-level design to soak up the Cornish sun and unwind together. Gather at the lower terrace to dine alfresco using the outdoor furniture, and also benefit from parking space for one car and a second small car can be parked in the garage.
