Public Transport
Consett is served by frequent Go North East buses, including the X45, X70, X71, 16, and 78 routes. Most services arrive at Consett Bus Station on Front Street, which is around 5–10 minutes by taxi or a short onward bus ride to the property in Moorside.
From Newcastle, buses to Consett take 40–55 minutes depending on the route.

Rail Connections
Consett has no train station. The nearest stations are Prudhoe (25 minutes by taxi) and Stocksfield (20 minutes by taxi).
From Newcastle Central Station, you can take a direct bus to Consett in 45–60 minutes.

From Newcastle International Airport
Driving or taking a taxi from the airport to DH8 8HD takes around 30–40 minutes.
By public transport, the journey via Newcastle city centre and then bus to Consett typically takes 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes.

By Car
Consett is easy to reach via the A692, A694, and A68.

- NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly request that smoking be avoided inside the premises. Any indication of smoking will incur a fee of £300 for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

- We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.
