Great holiday !

The house is located on top of a steep hill, from which you'll witness a spectacular sea view under any circumstances (and some pretty good sunsets too). However, the gravel roads leading to the house are quite challenging to drive on....if you're renting a car, we highly recommend you pick a solid SUV or all-terrain (we had a small city car, struggling to reach to top). Ludivico is a very considerate host and will be only present enough to make yourself at home / answer your last minute questions / recommend you some great food places. Personal note : you HAVE to taste the "pasta Alla Norma @ Trattoria da Giannino"

Our dream is your dream home

What a fantastic property. We fell in love with the pictures but they do not do it justice. The sunsets and the views to die for. The villa was clean and well maintained and had most things. No kettle so we were glad we brought our own. We were promised it had a washing machine but it did not. That did cause us a problem as we were travelling throughout italy and we needed to wash clothes. Apart from that the seclusion and quietness was great and we felt very very sad to leave. Wer Ruhe sucht, Abgeschiedenheit, einen tollen Blick, eine wunderbare Lage, ein gut ausgestattetes Haus mit schönem Pool, ist hier genau richtig. Die Betreuung ist äußerst feundlich, stets erreichbar, nie aufdringlich. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber wie sonst soll man in diese Abgeschiedenheit kommen? Zur falschen Zeit am falschen Ort

Die Zufahrt zu dem Haus war leider eine Zumutung. Bei Dunkelheit möchte man den sehr schlechten Weg schon gar nicht fahren. Das Haus ist im Sommer mit dem Pool für 1-2 Wochen sicherlich ganz nett, aber nicht im April bei schlechtem Wetter. Zudem waren im April im nächsten Ort S. Stefano leider alle guten Restaurant geschlossen und wir mussten immer sehr weit fahren, um ein Restaurant zu finden. Die Orte Caronia und Caronia Marina geben leider auch nicht viel her. Zudem waren wir von dem vielen Müll, welcher überall lag sehr enttäuscht. Wir sind nach 1 Wochen abgereist, obwohl wir das Haus für 4 Wochen gemietet hatten.

Traumhafter Ausblick und viel Ruhe

Wir haben unseren Urlaub als Familie (2 Erw + 2 Kinder) sehr genossen, die Aussicht ist traumhaft, Korrespondenz mit dem Vermieter via Whatsup sehr gut, er fragte oft nach ob alles gut läuft und uns etwas fehlt (englisch). Wäschewechsel nach einer Woche super, kennen wir sonst so nicht. Ferienhaus zweckmäßig eingerichtet, ein gut gefüllter Präsentkorb wartete bei der Ankunft auf uns. Wlan ist vorhanden und funktional. Der Weg zum Haus führte ca 3 km den Berg hinauf, ein Teil des Weges war in schlechtem Zustand, Mietwagen sollte möglichst kein Sportcoupe sein ;) LG Thomas aus Deutschland

So muss Urlaub...

So wie beschrieben stellte sich das kleine Häuschen mit dem fantastischen Meerblick als wahre Oase der Ruhe dar. Zikaden und Meerrauschen, in der Früh ein paar vorbeiziehende Schafe - Relax pur! Einziges Manko waren die nicht sehr gemütlichen Matratzen und - da wir eine Woche zu fünft waren - das Ausziehbett im Wohnzimmer, das seinen Namen nicht verdient und ein komplett überdachter Terrassenbereich, der somit auch an Regentagen eine Sitzmöglichkeit bieten könnte. Das Badezimmer ist klein aber fein. Die Küche ist überausgestattet; der üppige Willkommenskorb zum Empfang ein wahrer Segen, da die Supermärkte in der Nähe Sonntags nachmittag geschlossen haben. Die Deckenventilatoren in den beiden Schlafzimmern waren für uns trotz Hitze mehr als ausreichend. (Zugegeben, wir sind auch keine Fans von Klimaanlagen). Sehr praktisch waren dazu die Gelsenschutzgitter an allen Fenstern. Die Biester sind gerade vor Sonnenuntergang - je nach Wetterlage - ziemlich aktiv! Der Vermieter hat aber auf alle Kleinigkeiten immer sofort reagiert und diese auch behoben! Mehr Service geht nicht! Grazie Ludovico!

Ein wahrgewordener Traum

Ein rundum toller Aufenthalt in diesem wundervollen Anwesen! Alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit, der Pool top! Die Aussicht ein Traum! Hier will man die ganze Zeit auf der Terrasse verbringen und den Blick nicht vom Horizont nehmen. Rundum Meer, die Äolischen Inseln, das Summen der Grillen. Pour résumer au TOP!

La maison est très bien, vraiment très bien construite et bien aménagée. La piscine est un régal pour toute la famille, la vue est formidable. Et les petites intentions trouvées à notre arrivée on était très appréciée. Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires mais la personne qui nous a donné les clefs, Gianluca est très gentil. Nous ne parlons pas la même langue mais il a fait beaucoup d'effort pour qu'on se comprenne correctement. Merci à vous pour cette semaine de vacance formidable. La casa è molto bene, costruita proprio molto bene e pianificata bene. La piscina è una leccornia per tutta la famiglia, la vista è formidabile. E le piccole intenzioni trovate al nostro arrivo si era molto apprezzata. Non abbiamo visto i proprietari ma il nessuno che ci ha dato le chiavi, Gianluca è molto carino. Non parliamo la stessa lingua ma ha fatto molto sforzo affinché si comprenda correttamente. Grazie a voi per questa settimana di vacanza formidabile.

Waanzinnige plek met een fantastisch uitzicht

Wij zijn een week geweest op dit mooie plekje. Fijn afgelegen maar toch dichtbij een super leuk dorpje. Ook centraal gelegen om te rijden naar Capo d'Orlando en Cefalu. De eigenaar is bijzonder hulpvaardig. Het huis is netjes onderhouden. Het terras inclusief zwembad is helemaal de moeite waard met een uitzicht wat ik nog weinig heb meegemaakt. Super fijne week dus.

Luogo incantevole in cui tuffarsi !!!

La vacanza , per me, è uno stato della mente intriso di bellezza, stupore e liberato , quasi obbligatoriamente, da tutto ciò che impegna e spesso affligge il quotidiano. Questo è accaduto durante questa splendida vacanza, in cui io e la mia famiglia abbiamo dimenticato anche il senso del tempo. Tramonti a dir poco incantevoli accompagnati dalla sola voce della natura. Vacances reposantes

Avec une vue à couper le souffle, cette maison est très bien équipée et dispose de tout selon dont vous aurez besoin. L'emplacement nécessite un voiture pour s'y rendre mais une fois arrivé sur place, vous serez émerveillé par cette magnifique vue sur la mer. La villa est isolée et très au calme. Seul le bruit des cloches des chèvres vous reveilleront le matin. Vacances très relaxantes et nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner. Aldo

Villa de rêve au calme

A notre arrivée très bien organisée par Daniele, la vue nous a coupé le souffle. La piscine est agréable, la villa est moderne, et surtout le calme est saisissant. La plage de gallets au pied de la colline est sympa également. Autre point positif, le secteur n'est pas bondé de touristes en plein mois d'août. Petit inconvénient avec la chaleur : pas de climatiseur pour la nuit. Pour résumé : semaine de rêve reposante et tres confortable. Adrien.

una casa unica nel suo genere

una casa meravigliosa in una posizione meravigliosa.Basterebbero i tramonti che si godono da lì per giustificare un lungo soggiorno.Ma va detto che anche la qualità della casa in sé e dell'arredamento sono superiori alla media.La piscina è deliziosa e molto fruibile per chi non vuole scendere a mare.Cefalù è vicina, ma per chi vuole la pace ci sono arenili più tranquilli.La sveglia,di mattina, è data dai campanacci delle pecore.La notte la risacca tiene una dolce compagnia.Una vacanza vera per lo spirito.Michele Campanella

Der beste Blick des Jahres/best view of the year

This is just perfect. The little house ist nestled on a lonesome hill, you get there only by car. And when you reach it, you will just stand there and stare and start smiling: what a spectacular view. The sea seems to be all around you, the sun is glowing above the water. On this terrace you will spend days, evenings, nights, jump into the clean pool sometimes and listen to the donkeys and the dogs in the valley. Inside the house everything is nicely furnished.The owners are very nice, friendly people and you can talk to them about your wishes. We felt so fine here. Hier stimmt alles. Das kleine Haus von Daniele liegt über Canneto einsam auf einem Hügel, man erreicht es über eine kleine Bergstraße. Und steht dann staunend auf der Holzterrasse: was für ein Blick. 180 Grad Mittelmeerpanorama, gleißende Sonne, im Dunst die äolischen Inseln. Auf der Terrasse kann man - zusammen mit den kleinen Eidechsen - die Tage und Abende vergehen lassen, ab und zu in den blitzsauberen kleinen Pool springen und dem Esel und den Hunden im Tal zuhören. Im sauberen, nett eingerichteten Haus ist alles da, was man braucht, die Besitzer sind sehr sehr freundlich und für Wünsche ansprechbar.

Mare, silenzio, relax, Sicilia: angolo di eden.

Un soggiorno estivo irripetibile. Non lasciatevi scoraggiare dalla dissestata strada obbligata per raggiungere la villetta: una volta varcato il cancello tutto è un incanto. Godetevi a bocca aperta gli spettacolari tramonti infuocati dalla collina che digrada verso il mare: a sinistra il panorama spazia fino al faro di Cefalù, a destra si stagliano le sagome delle Isole Eolie. Soprattutto, qui si ha la sensazione di essere fuori da tutto,lontani da ogni cosa, in balia del sole e dei profumi siciliani. In realtà la strada è a 5 minuti, la bella Santo Stefano di Camastra a dieci, la spiaggia vicinissima. Relax distillato in un silenzio benefico, rotto solo la mattina da un gregge nomade di simpatiche pecorelle, graditissime presenze quasi ancestrali. La casa è curata e pulita, la piccola piscina una delizia. Se non si va al mare, appena sotto a Caronia oppure in una delle mille splendide località della costa, una giornata quassù è comunque ben spesa, soprattutto per i più piccoli. Daniele e Gianluca due ospiti cortesi e disponibilissimi: questo non vi autorizzi a disturbarli in eccesso :). Il patio con l'ombrellone, il barbecue a disposizione, un giardino 'a terrazze' opulento di colori e aromi mediterranei. Se non è Sicilia questa, se non è paradiso... Non ci sono mele, ma cogliete la chance al volo, caldamente raccomandata. Noi torneremo appena possibile. Grazie a Villa Alice e alle amabili PS Attenti, se avete un brutto rapporto con api e vespe: qui non mancano. Per me allegre amiche, ma per molti in effetti potrebbero rappresentare un piccolo fastidio.

Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht!

Het huis is precies zoals op de foto's, prachtig! Volledig ingericht met alles wat je nodig kunt hebben en goed schoon. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en een eigen zwembad was voor ons een droom die uitkwam. Bij aankomst stond er koffie en thee klaar, dan voel je je echt welkom. Wij werden opgevangen door Gianluca. Wat een vriendelijke behulp en behulpzame man. Jammer dat we niet goed met hem konden praten. Wij spraken geen Italiaans en hij geen Engels. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. De enige uitdaging was de weg omhoog.

Il posto più bello della Sicilia!

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana con le nostre bimbe di 4 e 22 mesi e non possiamo che sottoscrivere in pieno quanto scritto nelle recensioni precedenti. Il posto è davvero unico, con un panorama eccezionale, la spiaggia di ciottoli a pochi minuti di automobile è facilmente raggiungibile con un'acqua veramente.. da bere! Anche la casa è arredata molto bene, pulita e non manca davvero nulla... La piscina poi, è una chicca che la rende un vero gioiello! Quando torneremo in Sicilia sicuramente ci ricorderemo di questo posto, a presto! Cristiano e Laura
