Welcome to Sandy Steps – Your Private Beachfront Escape in Malia
Located on the peaceful outskirts of Malia, Sandy Steps is part of a small beachfront complex of just two apartments. Positioned directly on a quiet, almost-private sandy bay, it offers an authentic seaside experience just 5 minutes` walk from the nearest supermarket and 10 minutes from Malia’s lively beach road, where you`ll find local bars, tavernas, pubs, and shops.
The famous Malia Palace Archaeological Site and the beautiful Potamos Beach are only 15 minutes away on foot.
This cozy 45m² summer house is perfect for couples, families (up to 4 adults and 1 baby), or small groups of friends. It features:
A comfortable double bed
A single bed
A baby cot (available upon request)
A bathroom with a shower
A fully equipped kitchen, dining, and sitting area for home-cooked meals and relaxing evenings
Outdoor Living:
Enjoy over 200m² of private yard space with swing chairs, sun loungers, and a shaded outdoor dining area with a BBQ — ideal for sunset dinners by the sea. The bay is naturally protected from wind, offering calm, wave-free swimming throughout the summer.
For your convenience, we offer:
A shared wash house with laundry, ironing facilities, and a shower room (perfect for late check-outs)
Free WiFi
Private parking space
Weekly cleaning with towel and linen changes (extra cleaning available upon request)
Shared Areas:
Please note that while the private yard in front of your apartment is for your exclusive use, the beach area, BBQ zone, parking, and wash house are shared with the second apartment in the complex.

We can arrange airport shuttle service upon request (€45/way/vehicle).
