Great Family Escape!
We had a great time at the villa, had the greatest view and closessness to the Altos of Chavon. Rosy was very helpful especially with Ernest, our Havanese Dog. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at Colina 103 where we will hopefully stay in the near future.
¡Gracias!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
It was just okay
PROS: Very pretty unit and clean. Good communication with property manager
CONS: No air conditioning downstairs- super hot! Only air in bedrooms upstairs and the air in master not as good as other bedrooms. Very poor water pressure in showers! Also, needed to wait 4-5 minutes for hot water to come out. No tissue paper anywhere. No shampoo/conditioner- had to run out to market to purchase (wish I had been told to bring). Front door to the unit fell off it's hinge middle of our stay, so we had to sleep one night without a shut door. Housekeeper fixed it the next morning. Personally, I did not like having a housekeeper there in the house from 8am-3pm- felt super awkward! Place is not big enough for extra person during our stay. Location is not great. Felt quite far from Minutas beach, marina and hotel by golf cart, however Casa de Campo is huge so many inits are probably far from everything. I recommend a car over a golf cart.

Response from VrboOwner on 26 Feb 2023
Hi Lisette,
I apologize you did not enjoy your stay. There is typically a beautiful cross breeze that runs through the villa when the back sliding glass doors and front door are open. February is usually one of the coolest months to visit Casa de Campo with 75-80 degree temps. We will have the water pressure concern addressed immediately as that is not normal for a villa that has its' own pump. As noted in the listing description, we do not supply shampoo and conditioner; if you had read that or asked me, I could have absolutely informed you to bring your own! As I explained during your stay, it is customary at any villa in Casa de Campo to have a housekeeper (or multiple), and you were more than welcome to deny having her there but I remember you did agree to keep her for the duration of your stay. I understand we are not all accustomed to having staff wait on us so please keep this in mind next time you return to Casa de Campo - your comfort is priority and the villa owners will keep the staff away during your stay if that is your preference. This location is one of the best areas to be in Casa de Campo given it is located in the direct center of the resort, albeit a very private and quiet area (not on a main road), with Playa Minitas and the hotel both less than 1 mile away. For those reading this far into our response, there are two rental car services available through the Casa de Campo hotel if preferred over golf cart rentals!
Our host Micaela was a standout, absolutely amazing!! She answered all our inquiries promptly and went above and beyond. Their restaurant Onno’s was incredible with a wonderful atmosphere and the best tacos we have ever enjoyed. The villa was beautiful, spotless and well located to enjoy the many wonderful amenities. Giselle our housekeeper spoiled us during our stay.Casa de Campo and this villa were a great choice for our family!
The property was perfect for our family of four.
The housekeeper was very nice , only Spanish speaking but we were able to manage through the I -translate app. Casa de Campo overall is a fantastic family vacation destination. The property manager was also very helpful and easy to communicate with when needed.
We highly recommend renting this Villa. The location is great - centrally located and a 10 min golf cart ride to anywhere on campus. The Villa is very clean and Joanna was great. We absolutely loved getting up every morning and drinking our coffee on the patio. It was extremely peaceful and a great backyard. Beds are big and comfortable. Bedroom air conditioning was great for sleeping. Check in process easy. We loved the decor and layout of the place. Always felt secure and safe. We will definitely come back. Only recommendations for improvement would be more water pressure in the showers.
After reading so many good reviews for this property, we had set our expectations very high. And must say that they were met and exceeded by far. Nathan is a great host with impeccable taste and a strong focus on delivering quality. And while quality may sound like a given in Casa de Campo, it cannot be taken for granted in the Dominican Republic. This is a country with a very inconsistent customer service philosophy and, therefore, always have to do your research up front to avoid misunderstandings. Nathan would add value by helping you navigate it just fine by leveraging his network and local know-how. Highly recommended!
LOVE THIS SPOT!!!! Nathan and the team are great hosts. Very accommodating as always. Can't say enough. The breeze on the terrace can't be matched. Hangout there all the time and watch TV. Looking to go back soon!!!
A friend and I just wrapped up a week staying at Nathan's villa in Dominican Republic in the Casa de Campo resort and had a great time. First off the people of DR are just the best. Very friendly and interesting to speak with. The house is very warm and well equipped with a breathtaking view of the Chavon River where we spent most mornings over coffee and evenings over a cocktail. AC units in each room that keep you as cool as you wish to be and perfect for making a large group meal if you wish. The home comes with a full time housekeeper (we had Valentina) which made us feel very pampered and taken care of but also not intrusive. You are a short walk to Altos to Chavon complex which is a very large amphiteater that occasionally has concerts and a half dozen restaurants and shops to choose from. We tried most of them including the Sushi place and never had a bad meal. Our favorite place was Onnos which is Nathan's restaurant and beyond getting a VIP treatment everytime the food was fantasticMy favorite was the Diablo Shrimp, the Avacado fries and washed down with a Jalapeno margarita. It turns into a mini karaoke/night club scene after about 9pm if you are looking for a more social vibe
The Casa de Campos beach and marina is relatively close to the villa but not walkable. If you don't have a car I absolutely recommend you secure a golf cart for the week to get around the resort. Nothing is more than about a 10 min ride away and Nathan can hook you up with a local business that supplies them by the day or week. I didn't see much reason to hang at the Marina other than getting some groceries. We spent all our down time at Minitas beach. Look for Valentin the Adult pool area to get you drinks. He's the best.
Overall a great tip and Nathan was a fantastic host.
Great island, community, property, and host. If you could imagine a home away from home, this would be it. Everything was turnkey and clean, and we can’t wait to come back.
I have been visiting Casa de Campo since the 80s. Typically, I rent a villa because I am with my family. This trip was my wife, and two friends. We just wanted a quick get away.. After staying at Nathan's place, with Rosy attending us, we will definitely be back. I love to cook. I could not resist using the kitchen definitely set for a chef. Rosy was awesome and attentive... While I know the terrain pretty well, Nathan was helpful when we had issues. Very much appreciated. I will definitely be back. Don't know why I am telling you this. Someone might rent it when we want it.. I am not going to tell you about the breeze off the Chavon River... Walking to Dye Fore and Altos de Chavon, grilling on the EGG...... Love the place
We past 3 amazing days, we had all we needed, Rossi was wonderful helping us in everything.
Very nice apartment, nice decoration and super clean.
Will be back!
Slice of heaven!!!! My husband and I got married in Casa de Campo and have stayed in a few different properties - this one by far is our favorite (and I am very picky, lol).
The home is beautiful, pristine, comfortable, and in a wonderful location (walkable to Altos de Chavon). Nathan is the greatest host! Incredibly hospitable and responded so quickly to every small or large question.
I'll miss my morning coffee on the deck and can't wait to come back.
Excellent property, great location, friendly and helpful hosts. It was a great experience
The hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable. The process was smooth, the property was beautiful and the location could not be beat. Everything was great.
Our stay at Nathan's was wonderful. His house looks just like the pictures. Everything was organized and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nathan was easy to reach if you needed anything.
Rosy his housekeeper was lovely! She did our laundry and made breakfast for us.
I would definitely stay at Nathan's again next time I'm in casa de campo!

Definetely coming back!!
My fiancée and I stayed at Las Colinas 103 for 7 days.
At the outset, I must say this is an immaculate property that truly exceeded our expectations.
All three (3) bedrooms and communal areas of the property are equipped with excellent quality furnishings that are both beautiful and comfortable.
Its wonderful outdoor area (which benefits from a nice, natural breeze) serves both as a place to gather with friends as well as to lay quiet and relax.
In the technology side, the property is well equipped having big, flat screen TV’s and last generation Apple products (Apple TV’s and Apple HomePod speakers). The wireless internet was very reliable, working flawlessly throughout our entire stay.
Additionally, the property’s housekeeper, Rosi, was very kind, attentive and a pleasure to be around. (even did our laundry on a daily basis!). The owner, Nathan, was amazing, responding to all our questions/messages within minutes.
In sum, the entire property is warm and inviting with great vibe and energy. Most definitely, we will be recommending this property to all our friends.

About the host
Hosted by Nathan Bailey
I was born and raised in Naples, FL. I moved to upstate NY when I was a kid and pursued Culinary Arts in NYC. My family has been visiting the Dominican Republic for 40+ years. We rent out a few of our homes here in Casa de Campo as we love to share our little slice of paradise so others can enjoy it just as much as we do! I am also fluent in Spanish so feel free to message me in either English or Spanish and I will be happy to help your vacation rental/stay run smoothly!
We love to travel as well and if you have a home you'd like to share with us and trade vacations, we are open to these types of offers! We are serious "foodies", love to ski/snowboard, and love the beach.
