The Saloumy Hotel was exactly what I needed. I came to Egypt with a full itinerary of of vacation rental reservations and was curious whether booking directly with a hotel would be a better option. It turns out this was the travel hack I didn’t know I needed.Not only did I have a comfortable place to stay in an ideal location with easy access to Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara Complex, and more, but most importantly, I gained a trusted local contact in Mohamed. From the moment I booked, he reached out on WhatsApp and made everything easier than I could have imagined. He was quick to answer every question and truly went out of his way to help, even accommodating a 3 am check in without hesitation.You can tell Mohamed has a big heart. He’s well known and respected in the area, and it shows in how he takes care of his guests. If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend it. He’s just getting the hotel up and running, but he’s already doing it the right way.
