The Space:

Fell Side comprises an open-plan living space with oven, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, wine chiller, kettle, toaster, dining seating, and Smart TV. The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, and WC, a famliy room with bunk and single, and a single. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. A vacuum cleaner is available and a cot and highchair are available on request. Iron and ironing board available on request. On-site, you'll find EV chargers available on the site car park for an additional fee, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, outdoor playground, mini-golf, bar and restaurant, cinema room, fitness room, outdoor giant chessboard, PlayStation room, children's disco (in most school holidays), pool table, aqua fun, archery, campfire, tipi building, magician, craft club, bingo, live entertainment, frisbee golf, putting green. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is decking with furniture, barbecue, pergola, and hot tub, plus designated parking for two cars and additional parking on-site. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Fell Side is a lovely base for exploring the Lake District. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond. Note: Cot mattress and linen are not supplied so please remember to bring these with you if needed. The dimensions of the travel cot are 23 inches x 34 inches (58.4cm x 86.3cm).



The Neighborhood:

The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. Renowned for its wealth of specialist shops, the sandstone buildings of Penrith hide intriguing yards, lanes and alleyways, with a myriad of attractive cottages, gardens and little shops. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films. Brougham Castle, Brougham Hall (The Windsor of the North), Lowther Castle and Gardens, Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the historic city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the stunning scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
