About this property
Adwy'r Nant
Adwyr Nant is a charming mid-terrace cottage full of character and style, ideally located just a short stroll from the centre of the much-loved village of Beddgelert, right in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Set alongside the tranquil Glaslyn River, the cottage enjoys beautiful river and hillside views and offers comfortable, well-presented accommodation perfect for couples, friends, and families looking to relax and reconnect. Adwy'r Nant has recently been redecorated, offering a fresh and updated feel throughout.
Inside, the welcoming sitting room features an exposed stone fireplace with a multi-fuel stove, creating a warm and inviting space to unwind after a day spent exploring the surrounding mountains and walking trails. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing home-cooked meals to share together long into the evening. Upstairs, the cottage offers three attractively furnished bedrooms. The master bedroom benefits from a modern en-suite shower room, while the remaining two bedrooms enjoy lovely views over the river. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.
Outside, guests can make the most of the rear patio and lawned garden, furnished with a table and chairs — a wonderful place to relax on warm summer evenings while listening to the gentle flow of the Glaslyn River. Please make sure children are monitored at all times due to the river at the back of the property.
Guests have access to 2 private off-road parking spaces during your stay.
Beddgelert is a picturesque and vibrant village, known for its colorful charm, independent shops, welcoming pubs, cafés, and excellent walking routes right from the doorstep. A visit to the famous grave of Gelert, the loyal hound of Prince Llewelyn, is a must. The area also offers fantastic opportunities for mountain biking, with numerous trails and centers nearby. A short drive will take you to beautiful sandy beaches, dramatic coastal paths, and secluded coves, while the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia National Park are waiting to be explored in every season.
