The Isle sur la Sorgue, which regulars colloquially call Isle sur Sorgue or Isle sur la Sorgue, in Provence, in the Vaucluse department, 20 Kms from Avignon, between the luberon, the Vaucluse mountains and the Mont Ventoux, also known as the Venice of Provence, is a very famous tourist place known all over the world. My house (with alarm and WIFI) that I offer you is a magnificent Provencal country house, brand new, on an enclosed plot of 10,000 m2 (1 hectare). It is large with its 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ideal for 8 people with children. It also has a beautiful original swimming pool of 11 x 5.5 m2, with large beaches, sunbathing, outdoor beds, shaded pool house, shower and barbecue. The unique originality of this rental is that it is located in a very quiet location, in the immediate vicinity (5 minutes on foot) of several restaurants, Mc Donald's, several bakeries, luxury pastries, fruit store and Provence 'Halles vegetables, many shops and 2 super markets (Super U and Intermarché). It is the countryside near the city, or the countryside in the city, with all the amenities, without the nuisance and in an extraordinary and enviable calm. The small village of Saint Antoine is also a 5-minute walk away, with its bar, bakery and renowned glassblower. Another particularity of this rental is that at 5 minutes on foot you reach the banks of the Carpentras canal, where you can do sports, run, stroll in the great outdoors, cycle, join the golf course. Saumane (10 minutes) then the aqueduct of Fontaine de Vaucluse. From there is the center of the course in the trees, the departures of the descents of the river, the Sorgue, in canoe or kayak or the aerobatic center. Between 5 and 15 minutes by car we find the very tourist villages of Vaucluse fountain with its chasm, Saumane with its castle, Gordes with its dry stone bories, Roussillon with its ocher of all colors, cabrières d ' avignon with its cedar forest, cavaillon at the foot of the luberon with its via ferrata ...
Barely further (25 minutes) is Avignon with its stone ramparts and its fabulous papal palace; If you want freshness in summer (30 minutes from the house) take the direction of Mont Ventoux (highest mountain in Provence which peaks at 1912 m in height). The montagnette of the luberon or the Luberon depending on your pronunciation is also very well known (the walk in the green cedar forest is a magical enchantment). The cool walk, feet in the water (40 minutes from the house), for the whole family is towards Malaucène, in the gorges of toulourenc, it is a must. 45 minutes by car is Marseille, the sea, the beaches, the wild creeks and its coves listed as World Heritage by Unesco.
Very good stay. Vincent
