My stay at Filotimo was wonderful! The check in process was so easy and everything went smoothly after a long day of travels. The building and room itself was perfect. A lot bigger than the photos showed. The amenities were great, especially since I needed to do some work during my stay. The site manager was very helpful and responsive to messages. This stay was so great I extended my stay :) The location is absolutely perfect as well - not touristy area and residentia, so very calm and tranquil. I was able to meet and converse with the neighbors who were very nice - not touristy area mention the beautiful trees and church across the street. The best kept secret about this place is that the restaurants and cafes nearby are amazing - for breakfast, lunch, dinner etc! Perfect after a long day :) The apartment is also about a quick 10 min walk to where a lot of tours traveling from Heraklion along with the museum. It is located near the center but without the noise and hussle - very easy to drop something off or to take a quick afternoon nap. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and comfortable here too! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Heraklion!
