Welcome to Clark Corner Guest House - the perfect place for your vacation! Enjoy the small town feel of downtown St. Charles by staying in this circa 1900 Folk Victorian house with the modern comforts and luxuries of home. Self serve breakfast included. Clark Corner offers a newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom, 3 spacious bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen), and large living spaces for your group. All bedrooms and the full bathroom are on the 2nd level. This home has great natural light with many windows and transoms. Enjoy the walk to Main Street in less than 5 minutes. Generous self-serve breakfast included. Clark Corner offers self check-in and maintains high standards for cleaning and disinfecting between each stay. This home contains original hardwood floors throughout most of the house. No Carpet!
In December, Clark Corner will be decorated for the holidays and makes a great home base for exploring Christmas Traditions on Main Street.

Empty trash and place in the cans located in the alley behind the house along the white fence

Lovely stay in a historic home!

Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Greatly appreciated the breakfast and snack items that were provided. Host asked if there were any food allergies in our group beforehand which was greatly appreciated! Easy walk to the historic Main Street and the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfection in Historic St. Charles

We had a lovely long weekend in St. Charles! This house was just the right size and had ALL the amenities. The host was great to work with and very responsive. She provided not only foods for making breakfast, but snacks! The location is perfect, an easy walk to Historic Main Street. We have no complaints and will utilize this property again!

Fun filled girl's weekend

What a great place to stay and enjoy Main Street , St. Charles. From the stocked refrigerator , homemade goodies, the cozy touches , this place can't be beat. We have been here three times and will be coming back again.

Wonderful! We will be back!

We rented this place for a weekend trip & were very impressed. The house is in a great location with just a short walk to downtown. The house was exceptionally clean & well stocked. Communication was outstanding & the owners even went above & beyond & surprised our soon to be 8 year old with birthday balloons. We stay in many rental homes throughout the year & this is definitely one of the best. We will be back! Thank you for your hospitality. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated!!!

Fantastic home near the Foundry Arts Center

My family (husband and kids age 5 & 2) and I had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent with communication. The property was extremely well equipped. When the host learned we were bringing young kids, she provided a high chair/ kids cup/ kids soap which was so helpful. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of space in the dining room. The internet worked well. Nice to have outdoor backyard to run around. Would absolutely recommend

We loved our stay at the Clark Corner Guest House. The house is perfect. We loved and used every inch of the house. The living room has comfortable reclining sofas. A great selection of games. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch. We were overwhelmed about the amount of food in the house. We enjoyed ham and eggs along with pancakes for breakfast each day. Also enjoyed wine and snacks in the afternoon. The cookies and muffins were so good! The beds were extremely comfortable. Walking to dinner was enjoyable as well. Thank you for everything! If I could have given 6 stars I would of.

Fantastic!

We stayed here for a couple of days for an out of town wedding. Our party was a total of 7 adults and there was PLENTY of room for everyone. The bedrooms are large with plenty of closet space and the main floor rooms offer plenty of space for everyone. The listing photos are exactly what you will see when you arrive - they actually don't do it justice - it is so much better. The bonus on top of it all was the provided snacks and breakfast foods - they were just what our hungry group needed. This property is a quick 3 minute walk down to Main Street and all it's shops and restaurants. If you are in the area and looking for a place to stay - look no further! If we ever need to come back to the area again, I won't stay anywhere else. Communication with the host was timely and she went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Queen of all Hostesses

We stayed with my family of six with kids 6-15ys old. First off , Lisa (the hostess) was very helpful prior to the trip with recommendations and checking to see about any special accommodations. When we arrived there was a little basket on the porch with bug spray and kids toys, fresh muffins and cookies in the kitchen, and stocked fridge. It was a wonderful and welcoming feeling. The property is very well maintained. It’s an old home (but very nicely renovated) and the stairs are a bit narrow so just be careful on those. I think Lisa had made preparations for any traveling troubles. Ex: forgetting a toothbrush or to pack your soap. :). She had everything (even air freshening spray in the bathrooms). I don’t think I can say enough about the hostess’s effort to make us feel welcome. Thank you Lisa!

Amazing time spent at Clark Corner. Working with Lisa was with no complications. Easy, with quick replies. The home was beautiful and spacious. Beds were so comfortable. Off street parking with lighting. The extra self serve breakfast was more than expected, many types of fruit, muffins that were amazing, breads, eggs, ham, cheese, milk, coffee and tea. Along with this many snacks.included. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would like. We were able to enjoy the front porch and the neighborhood is beautiful. Cozy, inviting spot!

My sisters, mom, and I enjoyed a weekend getaway at this lovely home. The host ensured we had all that we needed! Loved coffee on the front porch, watching a movie in the living room, and easily accessing the historic Main Street! Loved being able to walk everywhere! Would definitely stay again!
