Welcome to nature! Small, cute cottage in Sandhem with a fresh interior, located on the same plot as the friendly homeowner (approx. 10 m between the houses). Here you live quietly and secluded with nature right outside the door. The cottage is perfect for a small group and offers a total of 4 beds. One bedroom with a double bed (140 cm - comfortable for one, cozy for two) and a sofa bed in the living room for two more guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and fridge/freezer. The bathroom is fresh and has a toilet, sink and shower. In the forest (approx. 150 m from the cottage) there is a cozy barbecue area that the homeowner has created - a perfect place for relaxing evenings. A stone's throw away (150m) is Lake Stråken, where you can try your luck at fishing in a peaceful environment. For swimming, there are several nice options nearby, such as Gravsjö bathing area (approx. 4.5 km, lawn and pier) and Mullsjö camping (approx. 9 km, with diving tower and family-friendly beach). For those who enjoy the outdoors, there is much to discover in the area around Hökensås Nature Reserve. Hiking trails, cycling, mushroom and berry picking and several barbecue areas are offered here. The area is known for its high-quality fishing all year round (fishing license required), with good opportunities to catch prize fish such as rainbow trout and trout in around 30 crystal-clear lakes and ponds, as well as for fly fishing, spinning and angling. In Kyrkekvarn (approx. 4.5 km) there are canoe rentals and the opportunity to paddle along the Tidan - a close-to-nature experience that suits both beginners and more experienced paddlers. There are also Icelandic horses here for those who want to experience nature from horseback. In nearby Mullsjö (approx. 8 km) you will find grocery stores, restaurants and services. For those who want to explore more of the surroundings, there are also several smaller swimming lakes, forest paths for cycling and nice excursion destinations. In summary, this is a perfect accommodation for those looking for peace and quiet, close to nature and at the same time want access to activities such as canoeing, fishing, hiking and swimming.
