Mar Azul, a Home in Madeira

Mar Azul is a spacious apartment in Porto Santo, with room for up to six guests — a few steps from the famous golden-sand beach and with an outdoor area and barbecue for meals in the open air, ideal for a family holiday.

The property has an internal floor area of approximately 120 m². Entry is on the 3rd floor and, on the middle floor, there are two bedrooms, both with a private bathroom: one with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm) and another with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) — there are also two fold-out beds for groups of up to six people. On the ground floor, the property has a living room with a dining table, a kitchen and a guest toilet.

Outside, there is a seating area with an outdoor dining table and a barbecue.

There is a shared parking area outside, next to the apartment entrance.

The accommodation is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and other kitchen utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and a television with international channels, amongst other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

Porto Santo is the smallest inhabited island in the Madeira Archipelago. It is connected to Madeira Island by ferry (a 2½-hour journey) and has flights to Madeira and to a number of European airports.

Porto Santo is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and boasts an extensive sandy beach stretching for around 9 km, which has been voted the best beach in Europe.

The peak tourist season is during the summer months. During the rest of the year, the island is recommended for those seeking a peaceful and safe destination, with a beach that can be enjoyed whenever the weather permits, all year round.

The property is 2 km from the airport, 3.4 km from the port, 850 m from the centre of Porto Santo town and 650 m from Porto Santo's sandy beach.

There are restaurants, cafés and various shops within a 1 km radius.

The property offers easy access to the town centre and the main roads for exploring the island.

The apartment has an area reserved for the owners, which is clearly marked.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have a washing machine for guests, but there are self-service or full-service laundries nearby.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.
