Had a wonderful time at Perdido Sun

The condo we stayed in was very roomy & the views of the ocean were spectacular. We loved sitting out on the deck sipping coffee and listening to the ocean waves. It was nice being on a private beach because it wasn’t overly crowded & the accommodations the condo offered were more than we could have asked for. We had an amazing time & can’t wait to visit again.

This place was fine for us. It was pretty clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. But all chair cushions were soiled, and the furniture is uncomfortable and very old.

Loved this property. Very short walk across the sand to the water. Not overcrowded, at all. I was, also, impressed with the soundproofing. We never heard anyone else in their condos or even in the breezeways to the condos.

Fun at the beach, not in the condo.

The time at Perdidfo Key was great, even the weather cooperated. All but check out time, it rained hard and was very windy. Rain was going sideways. The condo was nice, out dated some. The patio chair cushions were very dirty so we didn't sit on them. Also, the chair cushion in the family area was dirty and unable to be sat on. The floors could have been cleaner. Found hair on the floor in the bathrooms. and all the light fixtures had a minimum of two bulbs not working. The door knobs were loos and not tightened as they should be.

we enjoyed being there but this condo needs extensive upgrades.

tv system needs two remotes to operate...not current. couch is old, uncomfortable and pillows stink. chair is uncomfortable and dingy. flatware was dirty. microwave light over range doesnt work. master bedroom has no blanket and bedspread is dingy, old, nasty. master bath has rusty shower curtain rod and rings, as well as black mold on ceiling above tub. inadequate "dresser" in master bedroom. bed pillows are old, flat, yellowed. second bedroom was not completely made up...top sheet was on top of bedspread. access to beach thru stairwell...plaster is falling off wall, door frames rusty. is not a clean space. cookware is old, not nonstick any more, needs to be all replaced. had to wash pan to use it. the property is old in general and so price point is understanably slightly lower than newer condos, however with that in mind the units need to be and could be upgraded to be as nice as possible to help attract users. we won't be back.

We really enjoyed our stay and don't have any real complaints. The room is exactly as it looks, very nice and comfortable. The views are amazing! The last night we stayed (sunday) the thermostat quit working. It was Oct so not a huge deal but the room was on the warmer side. If it would've been that way the entire stay we would've had maintenance look at it. We did report it so I'm sure it was addressed. Also, Sat evening we noticed the hot tub was not working. Again, we reported this Mon when we were checking out. However, there were a lot of little kids (under 12) in the hot tub so in a way it was good that it was not hot. I understand parents are responsible for their kids in that aspect but I feel staff should enforce the nobody under 12 rule a little more. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lacks Pride of Ownership.

Location is good. The condo needs much attention. There was mold in both bathrooms on shower curtains and bath mats. All needed to be replaced, which we did at our own expense. All pillows were stained and very uncomfortable. The pots and pans were old and some were not fit to cook or bake on. The furniture in the LR was very uncomfortable and worn. The throw pillows were torn and dirty. We bought some and left them there. The deck furniture was very uncomfortable and pads were dirty. There doesn’t seem to be any barriers between floors. The chairs being slid in the condo above were so noisy. We heard and felt every step the people took up there. In summary, this condo needs much attention and a deep cleaning.

Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed to find so much broken furniture and closet doors that would not open. That should have been disclosed. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in on a Sunday, The room was not clean. We had to sweep vacuum and clean the entire condo. The sheets on all the beds were still dirty with sand in them like they had been made with the same sheets from the tenants before. The patio had shoes, inflatables, a beer funnel and other items from the previous tenants laying all over it. The shower curtains had mold and mildew stains on them. The spare linen was musty and had to be washed before use. Half the lights didn’t work so we had to buy light bulbs so the rooms weren’t so dim you couldn’t see in your bags. Once we got the condo in order the stay was okay. Just disappointed that the arrival day was spent cleaning. The linen was the last find and we had to wait till it was all dry before we could go to bed.
