Welcome to BHEKA Cottage/ Apartment on 18 Fifth Avenue, Parktown North in Johannesburg.

The space
This newly refurbished, homely, clean and cosy self-contained space can accommodate mainly 1 adult with a sleeper couch for an extra guest or 2 children (under the age of 12). A modest fee for 2nd adult or guests will be charged to cover utilities.

The cottage is ideal for commuting working business people/ academics/ or tourists looking for a well-located and comfortable weeknight fully serviced with fast, fibre internet, home away from home. We are within walking distances from the dynamic Parktown North and Parkhurst neighbourhoods hosting an array of restaurants and bars, and a short Uber ride will get you to the central suburbs of Greenside, Melville, Rosebank and Norwood hosting numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and experiences.

The accommodation includes:
• A small kitchen with all your kitchenware needs (oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, cutlery & crockery for 2 people)

Oven Usage:
Press the “ON” Button and follow instructions on the menu display within the wheel. Every selection will come with a sound

• The main bedroom offers a queen-sized bed
• A light and sunny bathroom with a shower, with towels housed in the drawer of the bathroom sink
• A private cottage with an entrance and parking for a small car.

Other things to note
• 24/7 Security company and you will be given a panic button for emergencies.
•. Please water the plants if you are staying over on Saturdays.
•. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board to support short & long term stays and your laundry requirements. Please purchase your own clothes washing detergents in accordance with your skin needs and/or allergies.
•. This is a self cleaning unit with broom, dust pan and mop available. If you require housekeeping of the entire unit a charge of R450 will be levied each time. Cleaning can take place on Tuesdays from 1.30pm - 5pm.
•. A 4 fin oil heater is provided to heat the spaces.
•. Parking for a small car is available.
• Upon request we can provide you with a small portable braai.

Please note the location of the property 18 Fifth Avenue, Parktown North, Johannesburg is within a street enclosure.

Direct access can be gained by:
1. Arriving with Uber : You can arrive at the corner of 5th Avenue and corner of 4th Avenue, Parktown North at Black Gate cordoning off the street. Please use/enter through small pedestrian gate which is open 24/7. The property is located on your left hand side (Black cordoning off Street Gate facing your back)

2. If you want to arrive at the door of the property. Street cordoning gate is open 6-8 am & 4-6 pm. After these hours please follow 4th Avenue till you reach 6th Avenue. At 6th Avenue please turn left till you reach 1st Avenue West stop street approx 50m. At Stop Street turn left and continue for 50m, till you reach 5th Avenue at which point turn left again. Reach black street cordoning off gate at which point the property is locate on your right hand side : No 18 Fifth Avenue, Parktown North.
