In a unique environment in the heart of a classified wooded area, and only 10km from Lyon, come and spend an exceptional stay on the theme of chocolate! 4 cozy air-conditioned rooms (4 ears of gite de France) in a contemporary wooden frame house are available, with private bathroom, wifi, TV and king size bed. A common area allows you to end up with a dining area, a semi-professional kitchen, and a small seating area. By reservation, take part in a chocolate workshop with family or friends to play apprentice chocolate makers and leave with your production! And always by reservation, enjoy a chocolate massage and the hammam for a moment of sweetness and total relaxation .... Access to the 2000m2 garden with its pine forest, its heated swimming pool in season, its picnic area, its garden furniture, its tree house , petanque field... Privatization of the guest house in self-catering accommodation (max. 10 people). We leave on place but interior spaces are well separated. During holidays, we leave the house to ensure our guest on long duration to enjoy exclusivity of the garden.
Companies are welcome for their green seminars, teambuilding or meetings.

We loved our stay at Karens home. Its a 20 minute drive to Lyon. Very comfortable bathrooms and bedrooms with excellent quality linens and amenities. Excellent grocery stores and restaurants nearby.

Great home, especially for a family vacation!

My family and I rented the entire home from Karen for my sister's wedding. It was great to each have a spacious room and our own private bathrooms. The large kitchen was great so we could cook our own meals. There is a grocery store within a few miles/km of the house so its very convenient. Highly recommend staying here whether you are looking to rent the entire place or just 1 room.

A Wonderful Experience

We arrived late and only spent one day at the property, but very much enjoyed our time there. The grounds are lovely and the kids enjoyed the pool, albeit briefly because of inclement weather. Fortunately, we had scheduled a chocolatier instructional session, with our gracious host and accomplished chocolatier, Karen. We not only got to make our own chocolate confections, but learned a thing or two about chocolate, as well. Well worth the visit and a very relaxing stay.

Très bien reçu par Amandine. La maison était super, les chambres et salles de bains impeccables. On a pu profiter du jardin et de la piscine avec le beau temps. Seul bémol les moustiques belle région à visiter.

Un bon moment

Agréable séjour de 2 nuits dans cette maison confortable au calme. Literie impeccable, chaque chambre avec sa salle d'eau et WC. Piscine bien exposée au milieu de la verdure. Et la cerise sur le gateau, la découverte du travail du chocolat par Karen: un instant de pur bonheur.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Karen étant absente, était très réactive par message et sympathique. La maison est très belle, spacieuse et la propreté est impeccable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin pour les petits et grands; et le hamman comme il faisait trop froid pour la piscine. Le petit moins : le salon / cuisine au rez de chaussée vue sur le parking privé.

La Maison de Karen est très bien pour une grande famille. La maison est grande et très bien équipée , les chambres spacieuses, le jardin superbe avec ses grands arbres et la piscine a beaucoup plu aux enfants. L’emplacement est parfait, au milieu de la verdure tout en étant très proche des commerces, des restaurants et à 20 minutes de Lyon. Je recommande cette maison sans hésitation

La maison de karen est sublime, décoration sobre mais chic, confortable, spacieuse, la literie est parfaite et la propreté est au rdv. Très belles chambres, chacune avec salles de bain et toilettes privatives. La piscine et le jardin sont agréables à vivre et bien aménagés. Ayant la jouissance de l’intégralité du gîte, nous avons apprécié la taille et le côté pratique de la cuisine. En conclusion, un très agréable séjour en famille.

Je m' arrête toujours quand je descends vers le sud, à la maison de Karen Chocolat. C'est propre, calme. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût. Les lits sont grands et le matelas est très bon, on y dort bien.Et en plus, on ne manque jamais de goûter et d' acheter les chocolats de Karen.ils sont délicieux ! Bravo Karen

Karen was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The house is in a good location very close to ammenities. We would highly recommend and would stay there again.
