Gorgeous home in Santa Carmela 5 Suites, private pool & rooftop gated community

This feels like home away from home! Our property is an ideal rental for large or multiple families, groups of all sizes, guy and girl trips and avid fisherman. Our property lays out perfectly to allow groups to feel completely connected while still having some personal space. It can be rented many ways; versatile to rent one home, one home plus casita, both homes and no casita or all three, Price on VRBO is is based on all 3 units. Additional pricing varies depending on the number of guests in your party and if a unit is not rented to your group it will not be rented to a different group while you are there. We have a wonderful swimming pool with a kid friendly shallow area, a jet for exercise or ample space to lounge and enjoy. There is a hot tub that seats 6 comfortably and the pool can be heated upon request.

There is a community club house with restrooms, beach access and a pool. All of these are available to rent for private parties.

Casa Margarita is spacious and private. This property has two completely separate homes divided by a beautiful breezeway (see photos for layout and floorplans) The houses feel very connected and the price includes all three units; sunrise house, sunset house and casita. Both homes are equipped with full updated, two master en-suites with private bathrooms. There is a separate private casita with a king bed and private bathroom. This property sleeps 12 adults and has an optional pull out sofa for additional guests/kids. There is a private pool with an ocean view and rooftop bar to enjoy the most amazing sunrises and sunsets that Cabo has to offer! We have a high chair, portable crib and stroller onsite for your use.

Beautiful multi-family home

This was where we spent our 11th annual Christmas Memory vacation with my wife’s and my children. The 2 different houses were absolutely perfect for the accommodations of the two families while we stayed in the smaller casita. Totally enjoyed the hot tub and pool and we took advantage of the chef services one of the nights. Alvaro and Geraldine did a phenomenal job as our concierge. This was our first trip to Cabo and the area itself was amazing… Plan a dinner at the Chuncky Noodle; it was our favorite.

Amazing place for groups!

Can’t rave enough about how great this property was for my sisters bachelorette. The staff — Alvaro & Geraldine — made the process so easy and seamless for all of us. Viktor, the chef that was set up for us, made the most amazing food and margaritas when we arrived. The rooftop was the highlight. The main house had plenty of room to spend time together. Also to mention the safety of the community is amazing and security is top notch. Highly highly recommend this for any groups - family, friends, etc. We will 100% be coming back to visit again. Thank you for making my sisters bachelorette as special as it could be.

Wonderful Location and House

Stayed for three days before Spring Break started at an all inclusive. Four families with one high school senior each. The layout of the house was fantastic. Incredible views of the ocean, sunrise, and sunset from the large rooftop terrace. Property managers were great! Arranged everything we needed. I highly recommend getting Chef Victor and his crew. The food was delicious and plentiful. They worked hard shopping, prepping, serving, and cleaning. The beach club is a gem. Great place to relax and listen to the ocean and see whales. Another family we stayed with was already making plans to return.

Amazing property and staff

We had a wonderful stay. The casitas were perfect to host large groups that also want some privacy. The gathering areas have ample space for all guests, and the rooms are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and a great place to relax in the sun or shade. The Santa Carmela neighborhood was extremely safe and the security staff for the property were very helpful. The property management staff is what makes this place stand out! They were so helpful during our stay in arranging rides, massages, chef services, and whatever else we needed. Any issues we had they resolved promptly. They were wonderful communicators and kept us informed throughout our stay. We look forward to returning to this property again!

The pictures do not do it justice. Two beautifully remodeled homes that share an amazing pool and courtyard. Perfect house for multiple couples, family reunions or girls weekends. Super safe gated community with 24 hour security. There is also a separate casita with a king size bed and full bathroom. Great for privacy. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels. The rooftop bar is a great place to hang out in the morning and have your coffee and watch the whales or have a cocktail and watch the beautiful sunsets. We also played tennis on one of the really nice courts within the complex and the community pool is a great place to hang out as well. Security will call you a cab to go into town. Less than 10 minutes into downtown Cabo. Can't wait to come back to this amazing property.

Wow! Amazing Home in Cabo!

This is seriously an amazing property in an exclusive neighborhood in Cabo filled with multi-millon dollar homes. The home has 3 casitas with a total of 5 bedrooms, 2 huge kitchens and everything else for a great stay. We spent most of our time at the pool/hottub. Kathya and Marzia were great hosts and helped us with anything we needed, including dinner reservations. We also did the private chef services one evening and the food was delicious and we had enough for lunch the next day. It is in a very safe neighborhood, and within walking distance to restaurants at the Esperanza resort next door, and a short taxi ride to the Marina. The layout of the home (separate casitas) is very unique, and gave us the ability to all be together during the day, and get some privacy when we needed as well. It is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the ocean view is spectacular. The price for everything that you receive is also very reasonable. Whoever rents this place will not be disappointed!

Great property for families

The house had a nice layout for our 11 person group of two families with adult children. The extra refrigerator space was nice. The outdoor pool space was lovely but a little small for this many people. The hot tub only fits 4 adults comfortably. The rooftop terrace with bar area is one of the best features, especially for a large group. The property management staff, including Geraldine and Ricardo, were awesome! The private chef, Victor, was also fantastic! He cooked us gorgeous, delicious meals on two nights - highly recommend you take advantage of that service! We ended up spending most of our pool time at the community pool, which has stunning ocean views. However we learned that, when this area is reserved for private events, we couldn’t access that pool at all. So, that would be the one disappointing challenge we had. Also, keep in mind that this is a community of high end homes, not a resort, so there are no gym or spa facilities on property. Having a car was very helpful, as we found ourselves traveling off-property to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Security at the gated entrance is excellent. We felt safe and secure in this community. Thank you for an overall great stay!

Absolutely Amazing Property! VIP Service, Book It!

Myself and eight other women stayed at this VRBO and all I can say is that this home was even better than expected. First of all the house itself is gorgeous! All rooms have a bathroom and the beds are all super comfy!!! Plenty of pillows and blankets, towels and necessities like toilet paper. The property itself is in a quiet gated community, we walked to the club house a few times just to take in the views and watch the whales. Of note, you can see the whales from the rooftop patio as well. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. The concierge, Geraldine, and the property manager, Alvaro, were incredibly helpful and both available anytime with a quick message to answer questions we had and to make sure we were doing ok during our stay. Geraldine was amazing at helping us to arrange private transportation through the house- this was literally a quick WhatsApp call away… within 15-20 minutes we had a van waiting for us at all times. Geraldine also helped to secure an amazing private catamaran for the afternoon as well- highly recommend this during your stay! Tons of shopping and places to eat near the marina as well. A true highlight of our trip were the catered meals and bartender service by Chef VIKTOR and bartender Eddie! These two are a fabulous partnership and we enjoyed having them around as they cooked, and made us craft cocktails. The food was ridiculously delicious and so filling!!! I cannot begin to describe how much food we had! Tons of leftovers! We ended up with a taco party and bartender service the night we arrived and were so thankful for this! We could just relax and enjoy our time! We also did breakfast and lunch services with bartender the other days and this gave us so much food! Well worth every penny! Of note, be sure to clarify the price prior to service as the VRBO listing had not updated chef Viktor’s prices and this was a little confusing for us- regardless, do not hesitate to have these two treat you like royalty… you will not be disappointed! I am still dreaming of his tamales and Chile rellanos. If you are wondering if you have found your spot as you read through the reviews, I promise you this place will not disappoint!!! I am already planning my next trip!

Amazing house!

We rented this property to celebrate my 50th birthday with 8 of my friends and family. The check in was easy, we got a tour of the house and we all had an amazing time. Everyone had their master suite, with bathroom so it was super private. There was some issues with power, but that was state wide so beyond the property managers control, however they compensated for our time without power and made sure we had the necessities. They were very accommodating. We would for sure come back!

Better than Pictures

This property is in a beautiful gated and secure neighborhood that is quiet and relaxing. While the villa has a private pool there is also another community pool at the rocky beach, just a five minute walk down from the house. The community also has hammocks, tables and lounge chairs that are hardly used by others. The house is immaculately clean and the pillows and beds are soft and comfortable. There are ample towels for both the pool and the showers. The location is convenient to both San Lucas and San Jose but we mostly enjoyed staying in at the villa. The rooftop was used to enjoy morning coffee and the lounger chairs and pool were used daily by all of us. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and spent many hours in it. We had Chef Ulysses make us a wonderful Mexican meal with snacks and margaritas upon arrival from the airport to several courses with fresh and delicious food. They stocked the kitchen for our arrival which was appreciated. They were most accommodating to my particular requests for organic produce and dairy-free items for my son. The Fresko (Mexican Whole Foods) is a quick 3-minute drive from the house. This location did require us to rent a car but it was well worth it to be able to enjoy our private oasis outside of the party life of the towns. This home is better in person then the pictures and there were no “bad” rooms as each had comfortable, large beds and private bathroom access. The AC mini splits worked amazingly at night and unnecessary during the daytime. The only small suggestion is to replace the kitchen utensils (spatula, serving spoons, tongs, etc) as the ones presently there are melted from the cooking heat and don’t function properly. Otherwise, the kitchen is stocked with all you’ll need to prepare full meals and drinks. You’ll want for nothing during your stay. The houses are a dream.

Excellent stay!

It was my first time in Cabo and I needed a place that would fit 11 women in their late-20s/early 30s for my sisters bachelorette party and 30th birthday in one (mix of California, and Michigan girls). Every girl was impressed with the house and we had an excellent time, if I came back I would book the same place. I hate to say this because it makes us sound dumb but we forgot to lock the houses (there are 2 side by side) when we left for the day / night and there was never an issue. I don't recommend this but just saying how safe it is. We never ran into anyone else in the neighborhood and playing music throughout the weekend (at a reasonable level) was not an issue. The drivers were so great, just a quick whatsapp text away when we needed a ride somewhere (and were patient with us when some girls were running 20 mins late to get out the door). The chef services offered were AMAZING (arugula salad, surf and turf, and churros), but was about double the price we thought it would be -- we didn't know they would be there for 6 hours with us preparing, making drinks, cooking dinner, cooking dessert, and then cleaning up everything! But no one was upset about paying more than expected for the level of service (around 120 a girl for 11 people with tip -- for surf and turf this was fine for us). There was fun pool floaties, captain hats, guidebook for cabo, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, an amazing speaker system through an ipad that the house provides that plays throughout the outside and house, abundant towels and linens in the laundry room and basically everything you need besides groceries supplied. There is a market that is walking distance from the house (under a mile) but we opted for a costco run for the amount of girls. Definitely do a sunset on the rooftop and if you have the time walk to the clubhouse that has a bigger pool and awesome views of ocean (too rocky to swim in ocean here but the view is worth it). We didn't do the hot tub as it was pretty warm even at night and we had 11 people but it looked great and would probably fit 6 at a time or so. Highly recommend booking a boat tour in cabo (we didn't go through the house for this) and going to the amazing farm to table restaurant flora farms (a whole experience that is worth the 40 min drive). The bar scene in cabo was pretty wild, didn't expect to pay $30 for cover in mexico as a group of women but apparently this is normal. 10/10 trip and 10/10 house!

Fantastic Cabo Get Away

The entire rental process was seamless from beginning to end for us. Communication was excellent making it so easy to relax & enjoy our entire trip. We had a group of 10 adults and the layout worked great! We loved the rooftop area for early morning or late night relaxing. We really enjoyed all 3 chef meals prepared by Victor as his food and drinks were exquisite in addition to his fun easy going personality. Transportation was very quick to respond and get us to/from wherever we requested. Alvaro was so great - got us checked in (Victor was with with him blending up a much appreciated delicious batch of cucumber margaritas!) with a tour of the home and assured he was available 24/7. He quickly addressed any questions or concerns (we had an issue with the garbage disposal that he had repaired very quickly which we really appreciated) and reached out several times just to check on us. The sunrise was breathtaking from the clubhouse and we spotted many whales during the week. We spent one afternoon at the clubhouse using the grill to cook burgers & the convenient refrigerator to keep our beverages cold while enjoying the beautiful ocean scenery. Covid testing was able to be coordinated very easily with a traveling nurse to the house. We walked to a nearby nice grocery store a couple times for supplies. We spent a lot of time in and around the beautiful pool and hot tub. The hot tub was a little cumbersome to get heated but overall great set up. The lounge chairs would be much more comfortable with full pads and several of the beds are in need of being replaced would be our only suggestions. We felt very safe and comfortable there and would definitely consider another trip there!

AMAZING STAY : You won’t regret!

I’ve never stayed in a home that was better in person than in the already great pictures! Clean, stunning views, beautiful property, ten minutes from the city. We saw whales from the beach, which was a bonus! Marzia and AJ were IMPECABLE from start to finish ! Responsive answers within a half hour, very pleasant, proactive and welcoming. Best Group Vacation Ever!

Cabo4Rentals did a fabulous job accommodating our group in Mexico. From beginning to end we were taken care and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing vacation. From Kathya the manager, coordinating day activities and transportation to and from the airport to Alvaro and Marzia concierges greeting us at check-in and having everything clean and ready for our arrival. We could not have been any happier with our chefs the entire week. Victor and Dulce are truly incredible chefs and the nicest people ever. We enjoyed fresh margaritas every day, a lovely table setting each night, amazing chilaquiles, fajitas, adobo, ceviche, marlin quesadillas, and so much more!! Hands down, the best food you can imagine. We would request them again and again when we return. I also can't thank the managing team enough for accommodating our 5. month old baby. Not only did they provide a pack and play for Baby Brian, we had trouble figuring out how to pop it open and someone was there in a heartbeat to take care of it for us. Thank you Cabo4Rentals for making our group vacation such a memorable experience! We have nothing but positive things to say about this company.

Overall it was a nice stay

The property was nice however it was hot the first 3 days because we had no air conditioning in one of the homes.

This property is owned by two northern California couples that fell in love with Cabo many years ago! We are all contractors and entrepreneurs at heart. We love spending time together and hosting with our family and friends. Over the years we have taken many family trips together all over Mexico. We have 7 children and five grandchildren between the four of us.

We love the convenience of Cabo and often take getaways there. Over the years we have had so much fun exploring the local beaches, restaurants and nightlife. We share a lot of memories of our trips to Cabo together and enjoy the opportunity of making more in our very own Cabo home. We hope you enjoy it was well!

Why they chose this property

This property was not the first we looked at, but it was the last! As soon as we set foot on the property with the realtor we knew Casa Margarita was "the one" before we even went inside. The security in Santa Carmela is unmatched from any other neighborhood we toured in Cabo. The roof top had us at hello and we just couldn't wait to build a bar to enjoy sunrises and sunsets together. With the help of our family and friends we spend most of 2017 remodeling the property and we absolutely love the way it turned out! We hope you love it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

The uniques layout and flexibility drew us to this property. It is a perfect private getaway for small and large groups. There are two homes on the property each with two en-suite bedrooms, there is also a separate casita with a private bathroom, rooftop bar, private pool and full laundry room for longer stays.
