A small, hidden spot in the artists’ village of Bergen, where life moves just a little slower. Here you’ll stay in charming accommodation, surrounded by a green garden with cosy seating areas.

Our guests often call it a “Secret Place.” Not just because of its peaceful location, but mainly because of the relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is a must; almost anything is possible. You can read a book in the garden, walk to the centre of Bergen, or bike to the beach and dunes. That’s what In de Aap is all about: casual enjoyment, pleasant conversations, and the feeling that you’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem.

CASA DE FAMILIA – 5-person garden cottage

A charming garden cottage with a Mediterranean atmosphere where you’ll instantly feel like you’re abroad.

This charming holiday cottage is tucked away in the garden and is a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The cottage sleeps up to 4 or 5 people and has a warm and cosy layout.

There’s a box bed where you can sleep soundly and a loft bed, accessible via a fun little staircase—a favourite spot for adventurers and kids. Outside, you’ll find a private terrace, perfect for a quiet morning with coffee or a glass of wine in the evening sun.

The Mediterranean decor instantly creates a holiday vibe. The compact kitchen makes cooking a breeze; it’s equipped with a gas stove, electric kettle, refrigerator, combination microwave, and a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. Of course, there’s also a TV and a reliable wireless internet connection.

The bathroom adds an extra touch of comfort with a spacious walk-in shower and a lovely bathtub—ideal for completely unwinding after a day at the beach, biking, or hiking.

And good news for animal lovers: pets are welcome here upon request. Since we have a dog and a cat ourselves, we do have a few friendly house rules for our four-legged guests 🐾

**🐾 Pet Policy**

1. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the *In de Aap* property.
2. Dogs must relieve themselves outside the property (on public roads or near bushes).
3. Beds and furniture are not intended for pets.
4. No wet dogs inside the cottage.
5. Out together, home together—so don’t leave your dog alone in the cottage.

A cosy spot with a touch of Mediterranean flair, right in the middle of the garden—where you can get away from it all, yet still be right here in Bergen. 🌿
