This is a great mountain getaway for a family vacation, snow skiing, boating, mountain biking, hiking, relaxing, etc. It sits back off the road on 2.7 acres with a horse pasture in the front. It's only 15 minutes from North Ogden but feels like you're way out in the country on a very quiet side street. Nordic Valley ski resort is only 5 minutes away. Powder Mountain and Snowbasin ski resorts are 20 minutes away. Pineview Reservoir is 10 minutes down the road. There are 5 bedrooms and 11 beds all together (1 king, 6 queen, 4 twin). There are two dining tables and a bar, a small table that seats 4 small kids and 2 high chairs. There are two balconies to enjoy the beautiful view and a very private porch in the back with two picnic tables for eating outside. The hot tub is also a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

Group Ski Trip

Great location and views. Four families stayed together here while skiing Nordic and Powder. House was great, spacious, clean, and well stocked. Owner was great to deal with. We would highly recommend!

Family Reunion

This is probably the most well-stocked home we have ever stayed in. We love that there was something to do for every age. We love the balconies and very comfortable beds. The owner was quick to respond with answers to every question. Thanks for a great time!

Great view and private location

There was plenty of space for all the grand kids to play, sleep and explore. This left the adults with place to visit and play games. Yard was great and we enjoyed making smores one night at the fire pit. Only issue was the the wifi worked sometimes and sometimes did not.

Private and scenic spot for family reunion

We had a fairly large group, and this location was a perfect fit. We loved how private the backyard was, and the outdoor eating area was awesome. We especially loved sitting on the front deck, and enjoying the view and hummingbirds. The long driveway is perfect for walks, and the area is quiet and peaceful. The house was well stocked with anything that you needed for your stay. We were pleased with the condition and cleanliness of the home. It looks even better in real life than it does in pictures. The teenage boys especially loved the downstairs area with the pool table and foosball table. The layout of the home is very functional, and there are plenty of eating and gameplaying areas. There are a lot of stairs, however, so that is something to be aware of if that is an issue. Jesse was very easy to communicate with and made sure things were going smoothly. We absolutely loved our stay, and would book here again in the future.

Wonderful house!

Jesse's house is beautiful, huge and was wonderful for our group. We had twelve of us on a ski trip (mostly 50-something dads and three adult children) for five nights. It's a great choice for large groups. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The house is in Liberty and is about a 5 minute drive to Eden (good grocery store, ski rental shop, a couple of restaurants), 20-25 minutes to Powder Mt, and 25-30 minutes to Snowbasin. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of cookware, plates, glasses, and utensils. The large dining room table comfortably fit all of us which was really nice. The living room has three couches and can comfortably fit 10-12 people. The hot tub fits six comfortably. The six bedrooms are all nice. The loft room is huge and has plenty of space for people sleeping there to spread out. The lower level has a ping pong table (good shape) and a 2nd TV area. Jesse was very communicative before we arrived and provided us with lots of helpful information. Only two things the house was missing when we arrived were a bottle opener and a corkscrew, which seemed odd for a large rental house. We all arrived at the house very late from SLC with lots of groceries, beer and wine, and many of us would have enjoyed a beer or glass of wine before we went to bed. We were able to buy an opener/corkscrew at the local grocery store in Eden the next day. The garage is not accessible to guests, but there is plenty of parking area outside the garage (we have five vehicles at our peak). Jesse - Thanks for renting your beautiful house to us! We really enjoyed our stay. We will be in contact next year if we end up coming to the Eden/Liberty area again.

Beautiful family home

We loved our stay! The home was beautiful and clean and the owners even had a welcome basket waiting for us. Perfect spot for our extended family ski weekend get away.

Wonderful Home!

We rented the Hubbard home for our family of 11 adults and 2 babies over the Christmas holiday. From start to finish, Jesse was wonderfully communicative and responsive to any questions or needs we had. Honestly, it was a pleasure working with him! We have been renting at Moose Hollow since 2007 and love the proximity to the mountain, but with our ever expanding family, we needed something larger than The Cascades, and so, we ended up in Liberty. For us, the trade off in size and functionality was totally worth it. Cooking in their dream of a kitchen was fabulous. Everything was well placed and labeled and they had everything we needed. Baskets of goodies welcomed us and numerous other personal touches made this stay unlike a cookie cutter ski rental. The loft area with play toys was a great blessing! Toys and books for infants on up made life much easier for our daughter’s family. Jesse’s wife did an incredible job making us feel like we were truly “home” for Christmas. A beautifully decorated tree awaited our arrival on Christmas Eve and made everything more magical. A new hot tub was installed the day before we arrived and it was fabulous! All in all, everyone agreed that this was the best place that we’ve rented in all these years! Almost forgot, they also own Rugged Rentals where we were able to get 4 wheel drive vehicles at great prices! Thanks, Hubbard family, for such a great vacation. I hope timing works out for next year also!

Perfect for large groups

This home is very nice and perfect for a family group. The kids loved one big room for all of them to sleep in. There is lots of space to eat inside and out. The location was great for boating at Pineview . Lots of beautiful places to hike and ride side by sides. Peaceful location. The owners are really good to work with. We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful family home stay

Our stay at the Hubbard home for a week with our 3 generation family of 13 people, ranging in age from 20 months to 72 met our expectations and then some. The house itself had every amenity possible for cooking and meals. The yard and deck areas in the rear and front of the house allowed the children to play and frolic. The loft area/playroom was wonderful for the younger children. We hiked and mountain biked at various locations that were close by. Simply put, we highly recommend this property. We particularly appreciated the owner’s responsiveness to all of our questions in preparations for our trip, as well as her suggestions for local activities.

Wonderful Weekend!

This property is amazing! It has a fabulous view, it is decorated beautifully for a country atmosphere, it is very clean and well kept. It is a great gathering for a group. It has room for 20 and will fit them comfortably. The owners are assessable and truly want the stay to be a terrific event. We highly recommend renting this property for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and beautiful get away!

Wonderful Eden stay for our second consecutive trip to Utah!

The Hubbard residence once again exceeded our expectations! As I use vrbo quite often, not every home is well stocked like the Hubbard’s! They have a picturesque view of the valley and surrounding mountains with excellent room for kids in the loft! The game room and hot tub are always fun in between some of the best ski resorts only minutes away! Book your stay in Eden at their ranch house and you will not be disappointed!

Ski Christmas vacation

The property is well-appointed, with a kitchen that is perfect for hosting a crowd. The beds are comfortable, hot tub is fabulous and the owners were very responsive for all of the (minor) issues that we needed to communicate about. We'd love to come back!

Awesome location for a family reunion!

Jesse and Laurie were fantastic hosts. Their cabin in Liberty/Eden Utah was the perfect location for our family reunion this summer. This site was great for adults, teens and small children. With the spacious kitchen, large dining room table and outdoor seating on the deck, we ate all of our meals comfortably. The small kids loved the toys and big play area in the loft. The teens loved the pool table and basement tv area. The adults loved playing games provided by the hosts and talking in the main living area and at the large table. The cabin is right in the heart of the Utah mountains—it is close enough to Pine View Reservoir for the boating and water sports enthusiasts while also being super close to several mountain hikes of varying ease or difficulty.. Situated on the west side of the Ogden Valley, When the summer sun sets, the evening shade from the mountain and trees crates the perfect temperature for an evening on the back deck, at the fire pit or sitting on one of the two the balconies overlooking the valley. The cabin also had air conditioning to keep it from over-heating during the hot summer day. If you are looking for a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this is a great place to relax!

Exceptional Property with Dreamy Views

I think every member of our extended family group fell in love with this property and asked me at least once if we could come back again. The setting is gorgeous, set against green wooded mountains with scenic farmland all around. We loved taking long walks down the quiet road. The cabin bedrooms are larger than they appear in the photos, with extra floor space, dressers, and closets. And the view out the row of 2nd-story picture windows and/or balcony! Wow! We spent a lot of time on the second level where there is a second table that we used as a dedicated game table, while others relaxed at the kitchen table or in the adjacent family room. There was also plenty of room to eat out back on the picnic table. The home has so many spaces to spread out - from the huge balconies, to the backyard, to the downstairs game room, quiet bedrooms upstairs, to the front area with a great hot tub and hammocks (a favorite spot to relax!!). The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with absolutely everything. We love Pineview Reservoir for beaches and boating, nearby Powder Mountain for hiking and mountain biking. Great owner who makes sure everything is well cared for. Thank you for creating such a perfect getaway!!

Truly a family home

This house is the perfect vacation home for families that want to visit Utah to play in the snow and skii at Snow Basin and Nordic Valley. We had a blast and will definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything!

The Ogden Valley is full of fun recreational activities. There are mountains all around and this beautiful setting is the perfect place to get away.

What makes this property unique

There are no homes behind us and there is hardly any traffic on our street. We are at the end of a long driveway that gives you plenty of privacy.
