Nestled on the renowned Naramata Bench, The Perch offers a sophisticated escape overlooking the water and surrounding vineyards. Every corner of this suite has been intentionally curated, blending an effortless aesthetic with the thoughtful details that make for a truly comfortable stay.

After a restful sleep in your luxurious king size bed, start your morning at the curated coffee station—equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and bar fridge—before heading out for a day of wine touring, paddleboarding, or hiking. Your private deck is a peaceful sanctuary for a morning coffee or a quiet evening with a book and a glass of local wine.

The Villa Experience
Villa Magnolia is a quiet, self-catered oasis. Our west-facing location is perfectly positioned to capture the shifting colours of the sky as the sun dips behind the mountains. Guests are invited to explore the beautiful Villa Magnolia gardens, which are bordered by the surrounding vineyards and form a lush, tranquil backdrop to your stay. As an adult-oriented property, we provide an intimate atmosphere designed for rest and refinement.

Wine & Vineyards: We are within easy walking or cycling distance of seven wineries. The renowned Naramata Bench features 45 estates along a stunning 12km stretch.

Lake & Shoreline: Enjoy sun-drenched days paddleboarding, swimming, or simply lounging on the nearby beaches. The sparkling waters of Lake Okanagan are just a short stroll away.

The Village: A charming 15-minute walk leads you to Naramata’s boutiques, seasonal Farmers Market, and local dining. The village also features a well-stocked General Store (carrying wine and spirits) and a local pizzeria that offers delivery directly to the Villa or the beach.

Trails: The historic KVR Trail is at your doorstep, offering world-class hiking and mountain biking with elevated lake views.

Property Notes
Group Bookings: To ensure a peaceful environment for all, we generally do not accept group bookings. The only exception is a joint booking of The Roost and The Perch for two couples travelling together. The Nest is a standalone experience and cannot be booked in conjunction with any other suites.

Additional Suites: If 'The Perch' is unavailable, please view our sister suites: The Roost (VRBO #970068) or The Nest (VRBO #861012).

Policies: To maintain our tranquil environment, we are an adults-only property and do not permit outside visitors, or pets of any description. A 3-night minimum applies to long weekends.

Rates: Nightly rates include GST. Please ensure your VRBO currency is set to CAD (top left) to view accurate Canadian pricing.

Villa Magnolia is truly amazing!

I would highly recommend "The Perch" at Villa Magnolia. The unit has recently been renovated beautifully with lots of small touches and is very clean. The view from the deck of the lake was just as the pictures show (outstanding) and it is very peaceful and quite.

This is a great little spot in Naramata. The location is great and the view is stunning!! We highly recommend it. The bed was super comfy. Make sure to take in the little breakfast spot in Naramata, it was awesome! The only thing that is even remotely notable (and depending on your preference this may be perfect) was that at night, on the deck it is so quiet there we felt we had to whisper, lol. So, you could literally not hear anything else except yourselves....there was other people staying in the unit , out on the deck and we couldn’t even hear them....maybe they weren’t talking???? The host Alan and his wife were super!

Perfect getaway!

We were in transit from Vancouver to Calgary. We stayed at the Perch, Villa Magnolia for 3 nights. Alan/Anna have a sheet of recommendations and they were all spot on. The Perch is a beautifully appointed unit on the top floor of a house. The owners live on the same level as the Perch (completely separated) and they have 2 other rental units below. All with a view of Okanagan lake and of a vineyard at their property line. No doubts that they are beautifully decorated and comfortable too. We rented their e bikes and we were just 10 minutes or so from the Kettle Valley Railway Trail . The trail from Naramata to Penticton is spectacular!!! We came back from our activities one day to find a nice personal touch of fresh cherries just picked by our hosts Alan and Anna. We would LOVE to rent there again in the future. Naramata is a cute small and peaceful village.

Alan and Anna are wonderful hosts, who were super communicative from day of booking through check-out. The space is super cozy, very clean, and has every little thing you might need for a few days’ stay. Located near Naramata village and surrounded by wineries, this is the perfect cozy perch for a stay on the Naramata Bench.

Waterfront Gem

We had the pleasure of staying three nights at the Perch. The suite was so clean we thought we were the first ones to rent it! As someone who has frequented Penticton for over 25 years, you cannot find a better place in the area to take in the spectacular views of the lake, the sunrise and sunset. Anna was gracious to offer us reservations she had prearranged at the Naramata Inn for dinner (highly recommend, by the way!) which are hard to get into right now because of the limited space with Covid. Alan is a wealth of information for everything wine and was great to chat with about the history of the wineries in the region. This pleasant couple are consummate hosts and provide a wonderful setting and experience. I would highly recommend Villa Magnolia.

Amazing!

Wow! What a great experience! The view was spectacular, the room was very clean and well decorated and Alan was super friendly and was full of information about the area. Renting the ebikes right there made it so easy to fully enjoy the day of tastings and beach time. We will definitely recommend staying here to our friends and family. Thanks for the perfect weekend!

Cozy Jewel in Naramata

Our week long stay at Magnolia “Perch” was lovely. The property is very peaceful and the view of Okanagan lake is second to none. The bed was excellent and our suite was very well appointed and extremely clean. Much care was taken to ensure guests safety during Covid so that was reassuring. I rented an electric bike for one day and that was thoroughly enjoyable. Anna and Alan are exceptional hosts and quick to respond with any inquiries. I recommend this property highly and would definitely book this again.

Stunning view with a great patio.

The property is over looking the water boarding on a vineyard. Absolutely beautiful! The downside is at 5:45 am a tractor engine start up and sprayed the orchard. Before arriving I received three lengthy personal emails from the owner not through VBO with helpful advice on the area and list of rules, a few were in capitals and bolded. The owners were pleasant upon meeting and did say the orchard spraying doesn’t occur all the time.
