At Oranjezonweg 7 - Klein Overduin & Het Bakhuys, you stay in a studio for 2 people and a house for 8 people in Oostkapelle on Walcheren, in the municipality of Veere. The Neighborhood:

You’re staying in Oostkapelle on Walcheren, on Oranjezonweg. Here you’re between beach, dunes and the ancient landscape of De Manteling. The beach of Oostkapelle is known for its wide stretch of sand and calm atmosphere, while the wooded hinterland offers shady paths towards Kasteel Westhove.



For a day outside, choose long beach walks, cycling along the dunes and paths through De Manteling and nature reserve Oranjezon. In the mood for culture? Terra Maris in Oostkapelle sits next to Kasteel Westhove and tells the story of the Zeeland landscape. Water lovers head to the Veerse Meer near Veere to sail or SUP.



Good to know: Domburg is about 5 km away, Veere about 9 km and Middelburg about 12 km. It’s easy to combine beach, nature and a historic city walk in one stay.



Other Things to Note:

Head out early from Oranjezonweg towards nature reserve Oranjezon. The dune paths often give you views of fallow deer. Walk on to the beach and take a coffee break at Strandpaviljoen Berkenbosch.



Plan an afternoon at Terra Maris in Oostkapelle. The museum garden flows nicely into a walk through De Manteling; via the path along Kasteel Westhove you’ll be at the sea in no time.



Rent a bike at Akkerdaas Tweewielers and cycle via Domburg to Veere. Have lunch on the Kaai at De Werf and then hop on board for a boat tour on the Veerse Meer if the season allows.
