The apartment is new and located in a building reconstructed according to the principles of green architecture. Access is through a spacious porch and sun deck. It consists of a kitchen/living room with a dining table and a comfortable sofa bed, one bedroom, and one bathroom. It features large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer a complete immersion in nature. It allows guests to participate in the life of the farm to which it belongs. It is accessible to people with disabilities. If occupied, please check the host’s other listings.
The apartment can accommodate 3 people: two in the double bedroom and the third on a spacious sofa bed in the living room. It features a kitchenette with a refrigerator and freezer, induction cooktops, and a microwave. Pots, pans, dishes, and linens are provided. The apartment is delivered clean and heated to a constant temperature of 20 degrees in the winter. The housekeeping service provides a change of linens and a complete cleaning of the apartment once a week.
The apartment is part of a farm and agritourism business that owns two separate properties located one kilometre apart. The land on which this building stands is partly used for growing vegetables, partly as pasture, and partly as woodland. The historic main building, which can also be reached on foot via a farm road, manages the livestock (poultry, goats, rabbits, and miniature pigs) in addition to the farmland, and houses the main residence with an attached restaurant open on weekends. Check-in, including key pickup and registration, takes place at the historic farmhouse, where we’ll get to know each other and you’ll receive all the information you need to make the most of your stay. The restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is self-serve, thanks to the kitchenette in the cottage. We’d be happy to provide you with organic fruits and vegetables from our gardens if you’d like. You’re welcome to come with us to pick them yourself. Alternatively, upon request, breakfast service is available by reservation from 7 to 9 a.m. for 10 euros per person in the breakfast room of the main building. In the Alpine tradition, breakfast consists of sweet and savoury items, homemade jams, fresh bread, milk, and many other things, including eggs from the farm. Outside, there are tables and chairs in the sun or under the trees that guests can use for lunch, reading, or working on a computer. Ortoalpino provides 2 mountain bikes for guests who wish to use them to explore the surrounding area. We offer them free of charge. Behind the two cottages, there is a small area with a fire pit where you can safely build a fire and cook meat and vegetables. This service is also free; just head into the nearby woods to gather firewood.
