The House
Sleeping up to six, the house offers a double bedroom, a twin, and a flexible third room that can be configured as a single, twin or double to suit your group. The large bathroom features a generous bath with overhead shower, and the third bedroom benefits from its own en-suite WC. At the heart of the house is a wood-burning stove — perfect after a day out on the island, whatever the weather.

Outside
Off-road parking and open skies in every direction. Watch the light change over the tidal flats from the comfort of the house — no two days look the same.

The Area
North Uist rewards the curious. The beaches at Udal and West Beach are among Scotland's finest — wide, white and almost always empty. Balranald RSPB reserve is a short drive away, a haven for corncrakes and wading birds. Sea tours, fishing trips and miles of walking and cycling trails are all on your doorstep. And when night falls, the dark skies here are extraordinary.
