You will be staying at Edsängen, an archipelago farmhouse from the 1850s on the car-free island of Trännö. The house has been carefully renovated in turn-of-the-century style with a glass veranda and preserved wood-burning stove. At the same time, it is equipped to modern standards, including a wooden bathtub and well-equipped kitchen. The sea view follows you across the entire property, where lilacs, hollyhocks, and roses bloom.
Indoors, turn-of-the-century charm meets modern comfort. Beadboard and the old potbelly stove give the rooms character. Upstairs you will find beautiful bedrooms, and the bathroom has a wooden bathtub where you can relax after your days in the archipelago.
The property offers sea views in several directions and is beautifully situated next to farmland. In the morning, it is wonderful to have coffee by the boathouse, where the sun shines from sunrise. In the evening, you can watch the sunset over Trännöfjärden from the bathing rocks, just a 2-3 minute walk away.
The St Anna archipelago is one of Sweden's most beautiful, with small islands perfect for kayaking. Sparse boat traffic and relatively undeveloped nature provide you with a peaceful adventure. You have your own island, Järnkulla, to explore. Walk the 4 km long road across Trännö or keep an eye out for sea eagles, deer, and hares.
Please note that the house is located on an island without public transport, but the hosts arrange boat transport to the island by agreement.
