The vacation home is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need, is cozy and well-decorated, the garden is perfect for both relaxation and play, and it offers the most beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is just a short walk from the house, and the beach itself is really nice with sand, kid-friendly swimming water, and a swimming pier. It’s a very peaceful area with just the right vacation home vibe.

There were two of us, and we really enjoyed Cecilie and Peter’s cozy, tastefully decorated house. You can tell from the loving attention to detail that the owners use it themselves—we felt right at home. The garden offers both sunny and shady spots at any time of day. You have a sweeping view across the neighbors’ properties and can see the Baltic Sea on the horizon. After a five-minute walk, the swimming pier offers easy access to the Baltic Sea. Suggested day trips: Aarhus, Ebeltoft, Grenaa, and the cliffs near Bønnerup—or simply set out on a hike or bike ride right from the house.

The slightly messy look with all the weeds between the tiles didn’t make my stay any less enjoyable, though. Lovely and secluded. Always a sheltered spot. Nice and bright. Lovely with all the plants. We were very excited about our stay. We were greeted with a small snack basket and a personal note, which made us feel very welcome. In addition, the owners had put together a detailed PDF guide to things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. The house was super cozy and nicely decorated. It was wonderful to have the ocean view and be just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. A very quiet and pleasant vacation home area. We highly recommend it :-)
