This log cabin, built from 8-inch Siberian larch, has a covered porch at the entrance and rustic charm throughout the building. Each log has its own unique color and shape. You step right out into nature from the door, with no high walls separating you from the mountains.
Open gable roofs with exposed rafters create space and character. The three bedrooms have completely unique ceiling panels that you won't find anywhere else. The floors are covered with slate, solid larch, and pine. Here, wood is alive in every detail.
The cabin is positioned so that it blends in with the surrounding terrain. No high walls break the connection to nature. The surrounding vegetation is untouched and authentic, just as it has always been. You are surrounded by genuine mountain nature.
Three mountain peaks at around 1200 meters above sea level are within walking distance, while Muen at 1400 meters above sea level is the most visited peak in the area. Myafallene is a spectacular waterfall that you should experience. A shop and café are 300 meters away, and Venabu Fjellhotell serves local food 1 km from the cabin. In winter, fantastic ski tours start right outside the door.
