The condo is wonderful. The amenities offered allow you to escape the magic when you need a break. We have stayed here twice and have enjoyed both our stays. The location is phenomenal and allows quick access to Disney World. It also allows close access to other restaurants and Walmart is very close. I would recommend going to Walmart during the day while everyone is at the parks. We would stay again.
Windsor Hills is a nice place. Reasonably priced. Good resort.
Great place and community
It was easy to rent and the property owner was easy to work with.
Great property. Was not busy at all. Quiet stay (while we were there). Easy access to all 192 has to offer. Pool was comfortable; water slides were a hit with the kids. Took a while to cool it down after check-in since they require it to be on 82 before you check in.
Seems a little high for summertime in Florida. Would consider staying again.
Thanks Jody for the review of our condo. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, however we are slightly concerned about the air conditioning situation. We do leave the units set to 82 degrees when they are not occupied, however when a guest is due to check in, we set the air conditioning to 76 degrees the day prior to ensure you have a cool place to walk into. If this was not the case when you arrived, could you please email us and let us know. We rely on guests feedback at all times to make sure our standards are being met, so this does concern me. As you can see, the review of our unit has gone from 5-star to 4-star seemingly because of that, which is very frustrating to us. Other than that, I am glad you had a nice stay in our unit.
The owner was easy to work with, the place was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Kristen for taking the time to review our property. It appears you had a great time with us - may I ask why you only rated us 4 stars? We rely on guest feedback to ensure we give our guests the best experience possible. If there were any issues or anything you were not happy with during your stay, please let us know!
We stayed at this Unit on top floor from Jan. 14 to March 2nd/19.
Very nice unit kept pretty clean. Carpets were new, quilts on beds new also.
I would suggest to owners to supply more kitchen pots & pans though. Fridge & stove were pretty good. Dining room table was nice and big, but chairs really need to be replaced. Living room furniture needs to be steam cleaned or replaced, was quite smelly, I covered them with some spare sheets.
Over all it was a pretty nice unit like I said, just needs a couple things and TLC.
We do remember you very well and we were surprised when we got this review given your comments while you were actually here.
For instance, on the 14th January, you wrote this; “Rick and I are very impressed with this unit, very spacious, beautifully decorated, absolutely love it. This is our 5th time in Windsor Hills and we both agree about rebooking this unit for a longer stay next year.” On the 16th you wrote; “Just got back from a short walk, absolutely love it here. We’d like to book for 2 months next year.” On the 17th, you wrote asking for the price for 2020, adding; “We will be booking. Really like this unit.” On the 19th, another nice email, then on the 21st you asked us to reduce the price next year by $1,396. You said that you did have another place in mind but wanted to stay in our place if you could. We told you that we could not meet that price and advised you to book the other unit. So my question to you, Carol, is this: did the unit need more pots and pans, did the dining chairs need to be replaced, and was the sofa as smelly as you say before I told you we couldn’t reduce the price for next year, or is it something that happened afterwards?
We have never had a guest so in love with the property as you were when you arrived only to find a review left a couple of months later mentioning things that were never even discussed at any point.
It takes a lot to surprise us these days, but this one did. We hope that you have a better experience in the home you are staying in next year.
