Welcome to a modern cabin from 2018 in Maldal, where large windows let in plenty of light and give you a great view of the hilly landscape. Here you can enjoy privacy and seclusion in a scattered cabin area, with excellent opportunities for forest walks or mountain hikes right outside the door.
The cabin has been built with practical solutions and high quality by a local builder. The efficient floor plan gives you plenty of space and comfort, while the large windows in the living room create an airy and inviting atmosphere.
Maldalsvatnet lake is in the immediate vicinity, perfect for fishing and swimming in the summer, or skiing and skating in the winter. Reinsnuten and Maldalsstølen are close by for great mountain hikes.
Sauda town center is only 10 minutes away with a swimming pool, outdoor pool, and shops. It is 20 minutes to the Svandalen ski resort or groomed ski trails in Åbødalen. Please note that the road up to the cabin can be challenging in winter.

We really enjoyed our stay. The vacation home is in a wonderfully quiet location and offers the perfect setting for relaxation. It’s tastefully furnished, so you feel right at home. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the excellent amenities. Another highlight is the beautiful lake nearby, which is perfect for walks, swimming, or simply relaxing. All in all, a great vacation home that we’d gladly recommend and would book again anytime.
