Formerly Covert's Moose Lodge, which was built in 2002, was created with families and hunters in mind. We have only used the lodge for visiting guests and never lived in as a regular home. It is located on the end of a quiet road in a tranquil valley consisting of open meadows, hills, and a large pond.
Relax in front of the gas fireplace or sit out on the deck or relax in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the hills, ponds, and wildlife.
The floor plan is open and roomy. The large floor to ceiling windows offer lots of natural light. Hardwood floors in the main living areas. Wall-to-wall carpet in all sleeping areas. Walls are natural pine.
Located in the Hartwick area of Otsego County, it is only 9 miles from the Village of Cooperstown and 18 miles from the City of Oneonta. We are just 7 miles from the Cooperstown Dreams Park and 16 miles from the Cooperstown All Star Village.
Over 5,000 acres of State lands are available for hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking just minutes from Oakview Lodge. Otsego Lake, Canadarago Lake, Goodyear Lake, and Susquehanna River are all nearby.
We have satellite TV, high speed wi-fi internet (as of October 2023), local and long distance phone (cell service is very limited), central air conditioning, washer and dryer for your use. Washer and dryer are not available in winter months. Gas fireplace is not available in summer months.

Bachelor party for a bunch of middle aged dudes. Was a great property 20 minutes away from Cooperstown Hof, 20ish minutes from Omegaang, super clean, super nice quiet area. Excellent amenities and super nice hosts. We all had a great time would 100% book again if they'll have us.

The hosts were very nice. The house was in a very nice and quiet location and we enjoyed watching the deer every dsy. Our favorite night was having a homemade lasagna dinnner together and going in the hot tub. It was close to the dream fields and downtown Cooperstown.
