4BR/3BA Windsor Palms south facing pool villa, conservative view, Disneyworld

Dear Hayley, I understand that the unpredictable and extremely rare event that occurred during your stay leads you to write a very negative comment, beyond your thoughts. Regarding the equipment of the house, you are not very objective, and as a proof, I would simply copy/paste the review made by the tenants arrived on the day of your departure “The house was nicely decorated and clean on arrival. It had everything you needed. The private pool was clean on a very private lot that faced a wooded area”. You also agree that the villa is big, beds comfortable, and lots of towels provided. Regarding the air hockey table, the switch to turn it on can be a little tricky, but it does work! (And you have to admit that on this point too, I gave you a quick answer when you asked me how it worked). Unfortunately during your stay, our air conditioner broke down, which is totally out of our control and predictible. The management company sent someone at the villa on the same day, but the repair was not possible, it was necessary to replace the whole unit, which, you would agree, on a Sunday, is impossible to find! We did our best to find a company that had the part in stock and the staff and time available to do the installation, which was done right away on Monday. I would add that I closely followed the temperature given by our remote thermostat, but never has the temperature risen as high as the 80 degrees you say! Our management company and I always do our utmost to ensure that our guests are satisfied because we know that the holidays are moments that we hope for perfect and all the 5 star reviews that we have received so far are proof of this. I hope to receive you again in our villa, to make you see that without this extremely rare issue, the villa is worth it! Sincerely, Emma.

Dear Leslie, Thank you for your time to write this review. We’re pleased to read that the house met your expectations! Yes, the privacy around the pool is so much appreciated by all our guests, after a long busy and noisy day at the parks 😉! Regarding the check in, it’s the first time such an issue arises. It’s a quite new process, and someone at the Gard booth must have done something wrong because, I assure you, you were on the list several days before your arrival. Regarding the smell, it is might sometimes happens since they are doing renovations works around, it might occurs in the middle of the street, but as you surely noticed it, you don’t smell anything in the house nor around the pool (other side of the villa). Anyway, this is a very temporary issue. I hope to welcoming you again soon, for a second wonderful time in our villa! (And for the wine and food testing nearby !) All the best, Emma🌸

Thank you Sarah for your five star review! It is always appreciated, and I’m happy to read that you had a great time in our villa. Regarding the AC setting, all the AC companies that I know will tell you not to set the AC below 72° and some even say not below 74°. It’s a lot of work for an AC unit to have to cool the air down and depending what the outside temperature is the temperature swing can be high. If the outside temperature was close to 100° and you’re trying to cool the air down to 70° or lower you’re talking a 30+ degree temperature difference which will make the equipment work extra hard and could lead to a central unit failure, which I didn’t want for you! That’s why we also have ceiling AND disposable fan in the house, just in case. I really do hope to welcome you again in our villa for your future trip to Orlando!
