Two bedrooms with queen sized beds, plus living room. The price is for 2 people on bed. Two 28 inch & one 18 inch TV's, DVD player. Balcony, with chairs and small tables. Hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with complimentary coffee & decaf.coffee, some utensils. It does not have a kitchen. High speed WiFi. Located in Chester on the North Shore of Lake Almanor. Near South entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park. All around; lakes and streams abound for water sports, hiking, fishing, hunting and more. Lake Almanor is just minutes away to launch your boat. Surrounded by 2.5-Million acres of National Forest and National Parks. In the heart of any and all outdoor mountain recreation and sports! Easy walk to market and restaurants. Sleeps 4 max. Futon and couch are for seating and not for sleeping. The listed price is for 2 persons, 1 bed,: there is an extra charge of $20. for each additional bed, or person, including children. We live and work close by, please be sure to include ALL persons who will be occupying the Lodge. It is embarrassing for all of us if we have confront you, our guest, concerning the extra people you neglected to list and pay for. The Lodge is Perfect for that week-end or weekly get-away at a fair price! During holidays 4 night stay required; Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter. The 4th of July, 3 night required.
There is no wheelchair access; no elevator, stairs only.
LATE DEPARTURES WILL BE CHARGED AT THE RATE OF $100.00 PER HOUR; NO PERORATION FOR MINUTES.

This was a very big and cozy place to stay in. We loved the balcony at night and the living room was great to just sit and watch movies in. It’s a great location not too far from the lake and not a bad drive to the national parks. The hosts were great very easy to check in and out and very sweet people we would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The photos and description of this property don’t do it justice. It’s so spacious and comfortable, with a whole living room and 1 large/1 medium bedroom. We had no idea it would be this big and comfortable. I’m picky about beds and they were also very comfortable. Our hostess was very kind and offered us suggestions of good places to go in town. It’s clear that she really cares about providing guests with a good experience. And it’s close to Lassen National Park, which is an amazing place. We had a lovely stay. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

This Chester apartment was a wonderful home base for our Lassen Volcanic National Park trip. There was lots of room for the two of us and I can imagine four people comfortably staying here. Diane has many small touches that were appreciated - charging banks, nightlights, restaurant menus, two keys and cable TV to get the local news. Diane lives across the street so contacting her was easy and not overbearing. Chester has many restaurant options and a very laid back vibe. We enjoyed people watching from the balcony. We don't cook much on vacation so the minimal kitchenette was enough for us. The steps up to the apartment may limit renters with mobility issues but weren't a problem for us. The only drawback to the apartment is the noisy street but it quiets down at night and the bedroom is in the back, so sleep isn't disturbed. The cleanliness, floor plan and location make this apartment a strongly recommended rental option.

Comfortable, Spacious Suite in Great Location

Comfortable lodging in a very convenient location for access to Lassen NP and Lake Almanor. Hosts were wonderful and very helpful. It had everything we needed and there were plenty of dining options nearby.

Perfect place for us!

We have been coming to Chester for years, but our family has gotten too big to all stay together. This spot was PERFECT for us! Way more room than we expected, quiet, comfortable, and so restful. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and spacious unit on second floor. Host was gracious and very helpful. Good fridge and good dining options in town. Don't miss the Mediterranean/Turkish place down the road. We are used to king size bed so this one felt cramped.
