The house is built of black wood to blend into the old pasture, with a forest edge to the north and open fields to the south. Light floods in from early morning until evening, and at dusk the sun sets behind some old oak trees toward Torekov. The sea is visible in the distance, about 3 km away.
Inside, there is light woodwork, simple lines, and an open-concept space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together. One bedroom has a 160-cm double bed; the other two have stackable 80-cm beds that can be pulled out next to each other. The bathroom is spacious and includes a washing machine, and the loft can accommodate a couple of children or a nimble adult.
To the south, the glass doors slide open to reveal the wooden deck. The deck is built around large boulders that were unearthed when the house was built. In the garden, seating areas are scattered throughout and can be rearranged to suit your needs—whether you prefer a secluded spot or gathering with a larger group.
Torekov, with its beach, art, shopping, restaurants, and cafés, is about a 4-minute drive away. Bike paths wind around the Bjäre Peninsula, so you can simply cycle in any direction to explore the peninsula. Båstad is about 15 minutes away, and during the tennis weeks 28–29, that’s where things are liveliest.
