For me, hosting means offering a stay characterised by care, attention to detail, and respect for the local area, allowing guests to rediscover the pleasure of a slower pace of life, clean air, and connection with the surrounding environment. La Casa dei Gigli is located in Mascalucia, in a strategic spot on the slopes of Mount Etna, just a few minutes from Nicolosi, the renowned gateway to the volcano. The area offers a perfect balance between nature and amenities: on the one hand, the majesty of Mount Etna, with its trails, lava landscapes, and hiking opportunities; on the other, the proximity to the city of Catania—easily accessible by car (about 20 minutes)—with its Baroque historic centre, vibrant cultural life, and the beaches of the Ionian coast. In no time at all, you can go from the tranquility of the Etna countryside to the sea, enjoying unique views and a region rich in history, traditions, and flavours.
