On a blind road along the coastline of Venø Bay, you will find an architectural and energy-efficient summer house from 2021 with the most spectacular panoramic view of the fjord. Here, the family has prioritized quality materials, with lots of wood to create a warm cottage atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.
When you step inside, you are enveloped by natural wood paneling on all ceilings, large and open rooms with high ceilings, and large windows that bring nature and light inside. The wood paneling also acts as soundproofing, and as the icing on the cake, the entire house is equipped with underfloor heating, so you don't have to worry about freezing on a cool day. The house has two bathrooms, one of which has both a bathtub and a sauna with a view of the fjord. Here you can enjoy a real spa day in luxurious surroundings with phenomenal views.
From the cottage, you can enjoy the fjord, which is right outside the door, to say the least. From the house, you can follow the life on the beach and even take a dip yourself, followed by a shower in the outdoor shower. Regardless of the season, you can follow the changing weather and sit inside at dusk and look out over the fjord, where the sky and water with colors and cloud formations can change in a split second. And on a windy day from the west, you can sit on the terrace facing east and see through the house to the other side and still follow life on the fjord.
The large natural grounds also offer plenty of opportunity for privacy, taking a short walk, and picking a bouquet of flowers. In the area, you will also find playgrounds, soccer fields, and many walking trails for lovely runs or walks in beautiful nature. Just a ten-minute walk from the house is Handbjerg Marina with lots of water activities such as surfing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing, as well as cool swimming areas for both adults and children, and good restaurants and ice cream parlors. The area also offers well-maintained bike paths to the nearest towns and to Venø with its cozy restaurants. You can also take a trip to Hjerl Hede, which tells the story of life 300 years ago, or to the protected nature area, Stubbergård Lake, with its excellent hiking trails.
