Featuring a large kitchen-diner, comfortable living spaces, private garden and sustainable ground-source heating system, it is the perfect base for family gatherings, walking holidays and countryside escape

One of the UK’s finest wellness centres and activity-based holiday destinations, located in Skipton, North Yorkshire which has featured widely as one of the best places to stay for relaxation, wellness and activities.

It features 22 stunning individual properties as well as the historic and beautiful estate’s country hall itself, which dates back to 1097, having been in the same family for 900 years.

Surrounded by amazing scenery and countryside, this resort offers a huge range of activities and wellness initiatives. Boasting the Avalon Centre, a dedicated state-of-the-art wellbeing retreat centre, they offer a number of classes, groups and sessions that can be booked separately.

The wider estate, being situated just next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offers excellent bike rides, walking trails, a mountain bike trail, catered picnic experiences for the summer months, woodland dining, forest bathing, foraging experiences and even a woodland sauna.

Outside, guests can enjoy a pretty enclosed garden and ample private parking.

The property benefits from an environmentally friendly ground-source heating system powered by the land behind the farmhouse, saving approximately 7.3 tonnes of carbon emissions annually - the equivalent of 292 oak trees. Located just a five-minute drive from Avalon Wellbeing Centre and Utopia Bistro, guests can enjoy both peaceful seclusion and convenient access to local amenities and attractions.

Each room is furnished with a super king-size zip-and-link bed, allowing flexible configurations as either a luxurious double or two single beds. Every bedroom benefits from its own private ensuite bathroom, providing comfort and privacy for all guests.

Leisure Suite

Guests have access to Avalon, the estate's dedicated wellbeing centre, located just a short drive from the property. Facilities include a swimming pool, hydro pool, sauna, steam room, and fully equipped gym, along with a weekly programme of wellness classes.

Guests may book a daily 2-hour pool suite session from 10:00am to 12:00pm (subject to availability) at a cost of £20 per adult and £10 per child. Additional pool suite sessions can be arranged for an extra charge.
