This cosy waterside cottage was renovated in November 2025 and is ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a restful base from which to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds and fenlands. National Trust Tattershall Castle is less than 10 miles away, where you can discover this marvellous 15th-century red-brick castle and enjoy the views from the keep. Afterwards, take a stroll around the grounds following the archaeology and wildlife walk. The attractive market town of Horncastle is only 15 miles away and is known as the ‘Gateway to the Wolds’. Spend time browsing the many antique shops, walk or cycle along the pretty Spa Way, or visit the Sir Joseph Banks Centre. The city of Lincoln, under 15 miles away, is another must-visit attraction; full of history, heritage and green spaces. Explore on foot, taking in the magnificent cathedral, Roman waterways, a castle and stopping at some of the many eateries.

As you enter the property, you’ll find yourself in a homely and inviting open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. To your right is the large lounge area, a lovely space for socialising and boasting ample plush seating for everyone to unwind in comfort. The sitting area benefits from plenty of natural light from the window, making it an ideal spot for cosy chats or watching your favourite programmes on the TV. When you feel hungry, head to the kitchen, which features all the necessary appliances to whip up a late brunch or a tasty evening meal. Beyond the kitchen, you will find a contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Finally, sleep soundly in the lovely double bedroom, which comes with plenty of storage space.

Venture outside, and you will realise why this location is so special. Located on a working farm with riverside views, there are 8 acres of shared land to explore, including 4 acres of woodland, so enjoy a stroll whenever you fancy. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.
