In a picturesque village that surrounds a large green area you'll see rolling hills from every direction, offering a wonderfully rural retreat whilst enjoying the convenience of a welcoming pub within walking distance. You may recognise the village from the BBC's ‘All Creatures Great & Small' or ITV's heartbeat' thanks to its picturesque backdrop. Perfectly situated in Lower Wensleydale, making the Yorkshires Dale easy to explore by foot, bicycle or car. Nearby is the thriving market town of Masham; (3 miles) where picture-postcard Georgian buildings and a 9th century church surround the charming cobbled square filled with independent shops, eateries, a wonderful wine shop and two award-winning breweries, you won't be short of options here! Bedale, 3 miles the opposite direction has a high street of independent shops including a multi award winning butchers and deli.
Make your way in via the rustic wood veranda to discover a large spacious interior, with light flooding in through the skylights, patio doors and windows. The brick built, wood cladded cottage scandi-inspired interior is full of originality and personal touchers. At the heart of the cabin is a double height open-plan area made up of the lounge and kitchen area. A Scandavian wood burner nestles in the corner, a place to cosy up on the comfy chairs and read a book or watch a film on the Smart TV, or simply take in the views and wildlife through the French windows. The contemporary kitchen comes complete with everything you need to cook up some of the delicious local produce before sitting down at the breakfast bar to refuel. Along the hall the beautifully finished master bedroom is bright and welcoming with king-size bed and luxurious soft furnishings. On a clear night relax in bed and gaze up at the stars through the roof light. Next door the bathroom with travertine tiles and quality fitments is the prefect place to have a relaxing soak or an invigorating rain shower to start the day.
There is a lot to be appreciated outside, the east facing veranda to the front is made for those morning coffees as you take in your serene surroundings to start the day. Step through the sliding doors from the lounge to access a stone patio complete with bistro dining spot with a wonderful fire bowl to keep you toasty during the chillier months. If the mood takes you, stroll down to the paddock to meet the resident Zwartble sheep or enjoy a little snooze on your hammock. Off-road parking and secure bike storage available.
